Appreciate the input. I was trying to diagnose and really didn't think overwatering was an issue. But I definitely do think nutrient lockout and salt build-up could be the culprits (especially with these hydro nutrients, lesson learned).

Well I guess I'll keep chuggin along with reducing nutrient concentration and then finally flushing in probably about a week or so. Gonna keep the positive vibes goin and hope for best

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Been away from the tent most of the day but just got a chance to check in. Aside from the nutrient lockout/deficiency slowly turning the tips of the leaves and lower large fan leaves brown, she's still going strong. I definitely noticed buds growing in size and smell getting a lot stronger (had to throw some dryer sheets up around the closet for the time being ). She's also been starting to get frosty! Can't wait for those trichomes to really come in.

Next feeding will probably be in another day or 2, and I'll reducing the nutrient concentration from 9ml/l to 6ml/l.

Couple shots of the buds this morning. She's starting to get really frosty!

Her soil is almost dry, so I'll be feeding her either tonight or tomorrow morning with reduced nutrients (6ml/l).

Gave her some water this morning with 6ml/l nutrients. So last dose of nutrients before flushing will be in 2-3 days at 3ml/l.

Buds are looking good, trichomes are continuing to develop, and she's smelling fantastic.

The nutrient deficiency/lockout is still a thing, but she's battling through it pretty well. Here's some updated pics of the buds and overall canopy.

Wouldn't she need flushed regardless? It seems like lockout due to salt buildup because of the type of nutrients I used. So I would ideally need to flush to clear her out to begin uptaking nutrients better. However, She's beginning week 8 this week, and typically is done by week 9. So I figured there's no point to flush now when she would need flushed again shortly after, before harvest.

I'm new, so I guess maybe I'm missing it. Does it appear like she's going to go a lot longer past another 2 weeks?

im not gonna say flush or not tho brother i was just curious. i dont grow autos and i use organic af amendments so im keen to hear what other advice on the topic, which in itself is debatable practice
i would use an ec pen tho, test runoff

Nah I get that, I appreciate the thoughts and debate. I enjoy everyone's input on the topic! As I get more involved I definitely want to get more advanced in my medium and work with photos.

I don't currently have one, but for the ec pen, it's basically measuring particulates in the water right? So if testing before and after shows a much lower after amount, I can assume nutrients are being used by the soil/roots?

ideally you dont want lower ec runoff shouldnt be left to go on like this for long
but it can be too highthis is when you flush or some say

Are you counting the 1st day of flower as the day you first saw pistil formation? If so this would be like week 3 or 4 of flower which means you probably shouldn’t cut off nutrients anytime soon

She probably still has time with pistils that white like @GreenGalaxyFarm said, I used to use the sledgehammer from fox farms to flush when I ran happy frog it did seem to help, but it would hall if you had trich shots

Sorry I didn’t go far enough back to really read up what medium you are in etc, with plenty of time I’d flush then re feed next watering but again depends lol

Oh damn that early? Yeah a flush then re feed if you believe it’s salt buildups

@GreenGalaxyFarm @hrtbrk3n @Mikedin

Thanks for all the input guys! Yeah I guess using when pistils formed during pre-flower that would be a little over 3 weeks ago.

So the concensus is I should give her a good flush (next or right away?) watering followed by (full, 3/4, half?) strength nutrients for a little while yet?

In terms of autos, what's going to be my indicators that it's time for her final flush before harvest? I know harvest indicators would be things like pistils turning orange/brown/red and when trichomes begin turning cloudy and amber. But obviously I need to give her some time to flush before harvest right? I've heard people day anywhere from a week to two weeks before harvest. So I guess how do I guage when to cut off nutrients?

Yeah seed sprouted on 12/07/2022 that’s only been 47 days since germination I think autos average around 90-110 days so this is literally prime flower time

So I shouldn't get hung up on the quoted 8-9 weeks for this strain? I think that's my problem, I'm too focused on that. But I guess if you guys are seeing she's still got some time, then I'm all for lengthing things and letting her grow out!
