Seed Sitting for 6 Years Sprouts!

So I don't currently have another grow going, can I just use my temp/humidity guage I've been using in the tent? youre looking at popping the hygrometer into a mason jar or what?

I dried my first ever plant in a brown paper bag in my dresser in the back and in 4 days I ended up with 1.5grams that tasted like heavy lime sprite soda wtf 😳

Well as much as it hurts to chop her down, I'm excited to start the curing process and get to smoke her! The 4 main branches were pretty beefy!

I hung up her branches in the tent and plan to keep humidity around 60%. Feel free to share any harvest/curing tips and tricks!

Oh and the smell! Holy shit does she smell good lol my hands and arms wreak 😂

What's up guys, just wanted to check in a give an update. Not a ton changed since chopping her, other than her drying. Been keeping RH around 50-60% and temp around 65-72F. Today (day 4) is the first day I could tell she's really starting to dry. Here's a couple pictures of a few of her buds!

Happy growing all!

Been following along. I love it! Good job. Good read! I learned a lot.
Appreciate you checking out the grow and sticking around! Glad you were able to get something out of it too, because I learned a ton through this grow. Awesome community here with a lot of extremely knowledgeable people!

You gonna pop some of those seeds you posted the other day? If so, I'll definitely come check it out!

I am definitely going to try to sprout them. I can’t wait to see if I can figure out what strains they are as well (or similar).

Today is 6 days since she's been drying. Checked on one of her small stems and it cracked so decided to give her a little test smoke! She ground up pretty nice (but you could tell it was a slightly a little wet still). My fingers were sticking together just from handling one of her little nugs. Taste was super smooth with sweet and earthy undertones!

So looking like probably just a couple more days left before I trim and jar!

Each day I've been trimming a few buds and then jarring them. Finally reached the last one today! Everything is dried and jarred, going to begin the curing process now. Gotta do a bit of research, but generally plan to try and keep RH around 55-65% and burping the jar daily to give em some fresh air.

Just because I'm impatient, I'll probably do a small test smoke every couple days to see how she's doing! She's super sticky and has a nice deep sweet smell to her. Think she'll be a nice smoke, once fully cured!

Final yield ended up being just under 20g, with an additional approx 5-6g of good shake and trimmings. This time around, I wasn't too worried about the trimmings/kief collection. Plan to just decarb it and throw it in some edibles! Regarding yield, it's obviously a little lower than I'd like, but mostly due to nutrient issues. But I'm just happy to have been able to go through the whole process, learn a ton on here and get excited to really get into growing!

If I end up sprouting any new girls, I'll start a new thread. Otherwise I'll still check in here to update through curing and will always check in to chat with yall!

What's up guys, been a little since I've checked in. Life's been busy, but been enjoying my harvest!

Just thought I'd share an update on curing. We're about 3 weeks from when the nugs were jarred. Been keeping her jarred and in a dark place, with temps around 70F and 45-60% RH.

Her sweet notes are definitely coming out more and more and she cures. She tastes great too, but I can tell the nugs still needs time.

Happy growing all!

As long as seeds are stored correctly they will last forever, put vials in coffee jar filled with rice wrap in a few plastic bags and put in fridge, just popped 3 beans no problem.
