Lately I have been packaging a lot of seeds and to be honest, it's a PITA, but worth it nonetheless.
Here's something that has made it much easier to select, count, and just plain handle the seed. The wife had the idea and gave it to me to use. "I want it back" she says...lol!
It's called a bead design board. It is made of a sheet of pressed plastic and lined with some sort of felt with a very short pile. The troughs make it very easy to sort out the bad ones, put them into lines of a specific number. The ridges make it very easy to pick the seed up to pack, and the felt creates a mild static charge that retains all the veggie matter like leaf bits and the calyxes.
