We are at 26days and I’m noticing leaf burn of some type. I’ve posted on fb and Redit groups and most of them say “let it grow” or “to early to tell”

I have been bringing water ph to 6, was feeding cal mag and some nutrients as these leaves were completely yellow for a while. Soil is a potting soil mixed with coco coil (I heard potting soil is pretty nutrient dense so I cut it 50/50 with coco) they are in 5 gallon bags.
I have tried to flush but the coco doesn’t let any water go and I get overwater symptoms. Is this nutrient burn or something else?

It looks to me like you're over-fed (tip burn, running down the edges) and over-lit (edge curl, interveinal yellowing). What, how often, and how much are you feeding? Any chance you could get an EC/ppm reading on your runoff?

I water when it’s dry with green leafs mix so 2tbs per gallon only about 650liters. I don’t get any runoff at all… even when I tried flushing it with a gallon of ph6 no nutrients water I think the coco is holding the water. I have the spider farmer control thing. Here’s the current stats.

Not sure if it has to do with your issue but you could increase humidity some. Seedlings like it more humid with a lower vpd.

Also listen to Oldchucky. Never used coco but it will hold alot of water.

It's pretty small for 26 days old. It's stunted for one reason or another.

I have yet to see a really successful grow in a mix of soil and coco. At this still early stage, a transplant into a good, well draining soil might be the best course of action. Let it recover, grow some roots, and then once vigorous you can contemplate flipping to flower if it's a photoperiod. If it's an auto, 🫣.

Every seems to be pointing at soil so I went ahead and transplanted into some drainage soil I’ve had luck with some newer plants. I ended up putting them in 3 gallon bags their rood system was so small I could’ve probably done 1 gallon bags. One’s an auto the other two are photo.
Unfortunately mj specific soil isn’t in my rural area, but I’ve had good luck growing other stuff with high drainage, miracle grow so I used that… I know I’ll have to flush it like crazy later though.

Ok I raised the humidity to 65. And did a transplant like someone else mentioned hopefully they get some drainage and take off.

I think it’s the soil that is holding onto water! Make sure you’re not blasting them with too much light! They don’t look terrible!
They are at 75% but raised the lights a little just incase. Yeah they are alive but they haven’t grown much compared to a set I started later on.

No need for MJ specific soil! Just be on the lookout for time release nutrients in some mixes.

All a grower needs is a potting mix that is high in organics, quick draining (why we add perlite) and with a soil pH of 6-7. Ideally 6.3-6.7.

However, if it were my grow, I would be using less light this early on ... I don't know what light you're using so its hard to tell you exactly what setting it should be on ... I think if you dimmed your light even more it would be beneficial to your grow at this young stage.

God, dammit, cosmic! You should’ve added some perlite when you had the chance! Oh well! Water under the bridge!😁👍 just watch your watering!
well, I put the old soil in a container to dry and fluffed it with about half a bag of per-lite so its ready for the next transplant or grow. its proper fluffy now.
