How often should I water my plants they are day 3 of seedling stage ?
They are in red solo cups

Let the medium dry out quite dry. Then give the plant enough water to dampen the soil. Don't soak it.
Let the soil dry again. over and over.

If your medium is already quite wet, let it dry, don't water again until quite dry. Then dampen.
Give it a little water then 5 min. If it needs a little more ok but keep them more on the dry side than wet.
Try and water every 3 or 4 days.

what do i do if my seed haven’t sprouted in the solo cups it’s been almost 2 weeks still no signs of any plant i have no idea what to do this is my first time growing

Kinda in the same state man hopefully we can get help lol I'm trying to germinate 3 seeds as well but not having confidence is killing me... I soaked them for 20 hours no sprout... it's kinda cold where l'm at at the moment but I heard they can get mushy from been soaked to long... so i planted them in soil not to deep n didn't pack the soil and put a diy humidity dome to help and wet the soil and the dome... I have one still soaking and to in they own pots... will they still grow?? I'm super new to this and need some advice... they are autos as well...

Man the first plant I got lucky n got fun i planted it outside n it grew so brought it inside to save it from the cold so Mother Nature took it’s course on that one for me lol idk if it’s female or male yet honestly and the two ones I got in the back I think my water might been to cold I let soak for like 20 hours and read to put them in there homes cause to much soak can cause mushy seeds.. buuut in that span they should of sprouted a tap root and nun so I planted them.. the third one I let soak for 4 more hours and put them in paper towel in dark spot in the tent since it’s warmer in there n hopefully get a sprout… i followed everything right i believe except maybe to cold of water

Best to start your own thread.

Normally (with decent temperature) you’ll see something in 3-5 days. Grab a toothpick (or small tool) and carefully remove the dirt and check if there’s any growth. At 2 weeks I seriously doubt they germinated.

If it hasn't come up by now it's probably not. Where did you get the seeds and do you know how old they are and how they were stored. I've tried a lot of different germination techniques and have settled on putting them in damp paper towels between two plates on a heat mat set at 80° f. No soaking. Usually have a tap root in a day or two then carefully place them in soil about a half inch deep. Lightly cover with soil and water in very carefully. It's easy to water to fast and wash them away from where it needs to be. Use something that will slowly dribble water on the soil but not pour quickly. I have close to 100% germination rates this way. There are many different methods but this is the one I've settled on. Many people find the seedling stage the hardest part of growing. Keep trying, you'll get the hang of it. Here are some I put on the heat mat almost exactly 48 hours ago and will be going into 4" pots tonight.

Only a couple variables with a seed - temp & moisture. If it was too cold and/or wet it will stall out after sprouting (and die). If it’s too hot/dry after sprouting it will die. I’d guess the former.
