I've never grown an auto in my life, lol, most of my work has been with clones until this year. Seedlings so much more fragile at 1st, almost killed couple.Be aware I'm not an auto guy. But a smoothly transitioned up potting should not slow them down, and theyll start way faster in a solo or something small for the first week or two. I do have a friend who does autos though, and he starts them in small pots and when they have about 6 sets of true leaves and the pot is rooted but not rootbound, he plants Into his beds outdoors in a greenhouse. He just skips the 1 gallon transplant step.
