Seedling placement in pot with LST

If i plan to do LST and tie the plant down should I place the plant in the middle of the pot or closer to the side? I figure the stem when tied down will go over the edge of the pot if it starts in the middle...ANy thoughts?

Personally I’d just put it in the middle and train around your pot, that’s what I did with one of my plants.
