Hi all . New to this forum. I have some drooping seedlings. Don't no if I been over watering or not. When I pull pot off to check roots all looks ok. Not given any nutes yet. There under a 600w led. At 75 to 85f. Any advice will be appreciated

I have the same problem and have a thread here.

Please Help - Leaves Drooping and Slow Growth

Hello all, This is my firs grow and it's not going very well so far. I have feminized Bubba Kush seeds that germinated right away and sprouted out of the soil the day after I planted them. After that it's been down hill. See pics below. Below is my set up, I am using a 3 x 3 tent in the...

I started to weight my pots so I could see if they were dry or not. Weigh when watered (wet) and then when dry. I have been told once you water don't water until pots are dry again.

You have a some yellow leaves, how close are your light's? Are you feeding them anything or, just the soil and water?

Hello DJ eclipse. Thanks for your reply. I just giving them water. No nutes at all. Do you think I should give some nutrients yet. I will read your post. P.s I have not watered them now for 3 days. Small pot are a week old. And the 2 bigger ones a 2 weeks old. My light is 30cm away from top of plants

Hi mate. About 11 inches away from tops. It's a 600w mars hydro led. I just watered them as they were bone dry. I thought I was over watering them. Shall I give more water to try flushing nutrients in soil if you think it's hot soil.

I agree on raising the light, and yeah, that soil looks hot...
Also, I didn't see if you are keeping tabs on the pH of the water you're giving them...

Hi mate. Thanks for reply. I keep the ph at 6.5. Hot soil . Does this mean too much nutrients in soil. If so what's the best method to rectify it.

Brilliant. Thanks again basscaptain. I'll let them do there thing. Do you recommend a better potting soil. I'm in a place where I can't be fussy with potting soil. Bit hard to find any. I posted pictures of what I am using. What do I need to look at on the labels of potting soil. Would you say the one I got is not suitable too hot.

I think your ok... all of this is so subject to so many things......

take soil for 1 thing the soil you get today is not going to be the same tomorrow........ Every run is diff.....just like anything else.............

your light being that close did you more harm then the soil........ but the 2 together wasn't good.....

at this point your at a catch 22.... there young so if you mess with them there NOT going to like it also....... so that why i said ride it out... Get that light up 2-3ft in a few weeks when there a little better transplant it's all you can really do .......

Cheers basscaptain. I think you are spot on with your diagnosis . Will take your advice. If I use the same soil on my next grow but keep light 24inches away. Do you think I can get away with using the same soil as I have already. Sorry to go on mate.

How often are you watering and do you have plenty of holes in the bottom of those little cups?

Hi beachwalker. I made 4 holes on bottoms and 4 more around the side of cups. I was watering every 2-3 days. I thought I was over watering them so I let them dry right out and watered them today.

I disagree with keeping them moist they're already over watered, start letting those plants dry out. I included the pictures so you could look it up and read and see if it sounds like what you've got going on? And definitely raised that light, good luck
