I recently bought a seedling dome and tray from AC Infinity to help me maintain humidity when I'm germinating seeding and eventually I want to start taking clones.

It's been about a week now and I'd like to transplant out of the trays, but I have no idea how to get them out of the trays without destroying the soil plug.

I used seedling starter coco mix without thinking it would be so hard to get out lol.

Do I let the roots grow in a little more? The dirt just falls apart if I try now. How do I get these out safely?

Yours worked out much better than mine in that tray, mine were all leggy. I squeezed the bottom plugs and used a bic pen to carefully push them up while my girlfriend pulled them out. We did one at a time I went to bring another cup of soil and she had the last out with no assistance. I won’t be using the tray for that purpose again.
Wet the dirt so you have a solid pod.

Cut the bottoms out of the tray completely, and gently push out seedlings 🤙🏻

Mine stretched a good bit but I had my light set a little low/far. Next time I'm going straight into solo cups...lol..much easier.

There's no hurry to get out of the tray. Give them another week or two. The cells will fill up with roots and it will be easier to pop them out. Next run, use plugs if you don't want to deal with it.

Eventually they're gonna want food no? Not feeding liquid nutes

That kit burned and killed two and stretched the others. I am going back cutting a water bottle, then solo cup. I cut the cup and peal like a banana after wetting and move them over. 0 stress. What light setting did you use on yours ? Mine wouldn’t stand up

I'm using a 2x2x4ft tent with an AC infinity s33 mounted at max height. Started off set to 20% but kicked it up to 40 when I saw how lanky they are.

Gotcha I used their whole seed propagation system thing which includes a light and timer. I have found use for everything in it , yet I won’t be using it as they instruct.

The dome is nice for helping me keep the humidity up since I have to supplement heat in the basement. I just won't use the trays again.

Yep, I will put my pods from the water bottle in the dome until they pop then I got another 20 watt light that I zip tied the ac lights to. I have the solo cups using the dome for boost and keeping them off the cold floor. I also am using the seed tray right now without cutting anything out to get them out as the tray for my humidifier to keep water off the floor.

I used a seed starter tray and managed to move them at around the 7-8 day mark. Roots were forming but still small. Allow the soil to dry before attempting to move them. Dry soil holds better. I used a spoon and kind of scooped it out and held the soil between the spoon and my hand and placed them in the hole of my next container.(solo cups) Then I fully watered. It wasn’t perfect but they all survived. Next grow will be straight in the solo cups and I will skip the germination trays. I plan to use clear solo cups upside down as a dome.

Well it wasn't pretty but they did recover in the solo cups. A little stunted for day 10 maybe but they lived lol. Don't use soil mixes in those seedlings starters.
