Seeds are germinating now what light cycle do I use

Good morning community. My seeds have been germinating for a few days. They look good and ready. I’m doing hydroponics. My question is , do I start light cycle now. I was going to google it but I wanted to hear from my community. And if so what light cycle. Thank you.

Start the light cycle as soon as they're in the growing medium. 18 hours on and 6 hours off is the most common schedule.
