It’s hard to get fem seeds where I live ,finally got some and want to store as long as possible,
i have read to put seeds in small zip lock bags take air out of them then place in a dark sealed jar and put in
cheese or butter section in fridge door or in tray in bottom of fridge for fruit and vegetable container.
is this the best way to keep seeds ?thanks for help.

TBH that's pretty much what I've done. Some seeds here are close to 3 yrs old and I've had zero issues with germination...knock on wood! I soak them in distilled water with a wee pinch of kelp powder. I'd say you're good to go.✌️

I went to the dollar store and grabbed glass vials, then I vacuum seal them and put different strains in a big glass jar which i keep in the fridge, years later they still have the same viability

Thanks for advice ,I am confident to store them now they are like gold around here.

Just put mine in the drawer of my fridge. 39 degrees, it says 40% humidity in the drawer but Im betting its 10% in the package.

Seeds are in a small sealed bag inside a bubble wrap manilla envelope.

Just as I received the seeds in the mail I never opened it.

Im only looking to store for 4 months.

I think above the temps.. the darkness is the more important part (that is of course my opinion).
So I live in a cold place would my dark cold closet work better! I also read it's all about the container can't have two different types of material like a glass jar with a tin lid! Do you know anything about that?

Light, heat, high temperature and dessication are to be avoided,if you cover that they will last years.
