The problem with a lot of these so called studies is they don't follow the Scientific Method, They usually walk into it hell bent on proving something rather than just setting parameters, observing and reporting. Doesn't matter whether they're researching measurable benefits of cannabis or showing how evil it is. There's research bias going on.

if your old enough and have been in the business your entire life than you know more than the science, marijuana has only been decriminalized etc because they have manipulated it enough to legalize it,. no way in hell would marijuana from the mid 80’s ever been decriminalized,..
the “high” has been removed from marijuana,.
i think it has to do with thcp which was a lot more prevalent in marijuana back than, and impossible to find now in its natural state,.
thcp is 33 times stronger than thc in the way it reacts with the brain receptors,.,

I am watching and it looks lie Trump is following through on the Biden intuitive to reschedule Cannabis.

Reminder this does not keep Mom and Pop out of prison,
Also Congress must modify the Cannabis laws; President only signals direction not dictation.

I'm still a firm believer of the full cannabinoid spectrum. I don't buy the conspiracy theory that government secretly bred cannabis down to become more benign. What I believe happened is decades of growing and trying to push THC limits with selective breeding that we left some really important cannabinoids behind and the only way to get a similar high today that you got back in the 80's is to load a bowl with 5 different strains and ride the entourage train and you're still gonna miss out on the entire spectrum we used to enjoy. So, don't blame the government, we pot growers did it to ourselves.

It feels like this is my experience also, I just don't get quite the same effect I did back in the 70s/80s. I'd kind of chalked it up to being older and also there was a fairly long period of time when I wasn't smoking at all and only started again in the last four years.

do you remember on the 6:00 o’clock news in early 80’s of the govnts burning down marijuana fields across the world? what they didn’t show you was the them collecting the dna profile first,. than replacing the fields with sam’s crap genetics,, trust me weed was soo good back in the day than the imported weed suddenly stopped and soon after everything was indoor which was around 1990, and the high was different so shortly after that i quit weed completely and only smoke hashish and oil since, as the hashish was still being imported in,..
i was in the hashish trade, had friends in the weed trade and mushrooms and producing lsd, all big time scale,..

Aren’t the “landraces” all just cultivated hybrids now? What was natural is gone.

Have you grown the Maui 86 Cap had ? I don’t know what 80s or 70s weed was like but that strain is distinctly different than anything I have tried. It’s also more of a Hawaiian smell and taste than any Maui I have tried.

there’s some trying to go back to the original strains with help from seed collectors,..

i have it going now,. last grow i killed off because of mildew,
im gonna cross it with the kalamata red i have,.

Sorry about the shitty pics. It’s red as it is already. Sounds like neat cross. I did a few of the crosses. The ones labeled m86 only have this Hawaiian pizza vibe. Sweet yet meaty flavor maybe. It might just be me but the smoke is thicker and rises slower 😂🤷‍♂️

well my captain mix i have and about to dry sift soon is or could be a maui cross,.
had the list of could be’s but can’t find it,
