Hello everyone, new to the forum but not new to growing. Just thought I would pop in and get my journal going for questions/comments and just to look back on every now and then for personal reasons. Started off with some 8 year old Blue Cheese seeds from Barney's Farm which just entered flower this week under the SF4000 + 100w QB combo in my 4x4 tent. I also have some Island Sweet Skunk and Critical Magic seeds from the local dispensary that have been in veg for about 35 days in the closet under the SE3000.

Lights: SF4000, SE3000, 100w QB
Grow Space(s): 4x4 tent, 4x2 closet
Medium: 50% ProMix BX, 25% perlite, 25% EWC
Nutrients: Gaia Green all purpose and power bloom with Mycorrhizae
Containers: 4" nursery pots -> 1gal fabric -> 5gal fabric

Blue Cheese - only the big one got topped once about 30 days into veg, the other 2 have not been topped.

ISS(left) - topped at the 5th node, trimmed all branches and growth up to the 4th node, and left 4 main fan leaves.
CM(right) - topped at the 6th node, trimmed ALL fan leaves from main stem.

Heading into week 2 of flower now. Plants have been top dressed and some minor lollipop action has been taken. Growth has been vigorous! Each plant drinking about ~4.5L per day now.

Vegging away for the next run - ISS & CM. Still noticing some impacted older growth from my RO water mess up a few weeks back.

I think I'm done buying lights for a while...I swear. Just picked up another 150w quantum board style LED cause I couldn't refuse. Uses Samsung LM301H diodes and a quality driver. While unboxing this thing I would swear it was assembled/built in the same factory as Spider Farmer if you never told me otherwise. BloomPus XP1500 2022 edition.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B093F8K87K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So I did some Lux tests before and after adding the board, getting some really good ppfd across the 4x4 now. Here are some pics of before and after adding the 150w:

640-944 umol/s (36000-53000 lux)

890-1200 umol/s (50000-68000 lux)

4x4 tent now has the SF4000 & 150w QB for 600w

Closet now has the SE3000 & 100w QB for 400w

Has it really only been 8 days since those last pics?...things sure move quickly once 12/12 hits haha

ISS & CM

I think they are pretty much done stretching now and I hope to god they are because I've got no more room to raise the lights in my closet. They are about 3.5' in height right now.

Blue Cheese girls heading into week 3. Kinda got the yellowing sorted out on my biggest girl. I think it was a combination of a few things but I think mostly it was light induced yellowing. Have dimmed my lights back to 80% and given them a few tbspn of epsom salts this week.

The smell and trich production is starting to pick up.

Week 3 of flower. I'd say things are looking promising so far considering the learning curve with a new nutrient line. I was trying to be conservative but this ended up biting me in the butt once I switched to flower. Was not feeding my plants enough at all. Hopefully have got it rectified moving forward.

After reading this ladies guide for Gaia Green I had been using like 40% of the amounts that she uses...crazy.

Using Gaia Green Nutrients for Cannabis - Plant Medicine Mama

Learn About Using Gaia Green Nutrients for Cannabis Plants, Including Amending the Growing Medium and Top Dressing the Plants.
plantmedicinemama.ca

Nutrient Schedule for Photoperiods

**Note: For photoperiods, once you reach your final container, you can top dress every 4 weeks or so until the 5th week of flower. You can use fresh soil or amend the medium prior to transplanting until you reach the final container**

**Only amend soil if re-using soil or soil that doesn’t contain nutrients**

Amend soil/coco for germination/seedling/transplanting during vegetation: 70/30 of All Purpose 4-4-4 & Power Bloom 2-8-4; Add 3 Tbsps per gallon of medium Ex. 42 Tbsps or 2 5/8 cups or 2 cups & 10 Tbsps 4-4-4, 18 Tbsps or 1 cup & 2 Tbsps 2-8-4 for 20 gallons

Early Flower: 50/50 of All Purpose 4-4-4 & Power Bloom 2-8-4; Top dress feed 2 Tbsps per gallon of medium Ex. 5 Tbsps 4-4-4, 5 Tbsps 2-8-4 for 5 gallons

In Flower/Up to Week 5 of Flower: 70/30 of Power Bloom 2-8-4 & All Purpose 4-4-4; Top dress feed 2 Tbsps per gallon of medium Ex. 7 Tbsps 2-8-4, 3 Tbsps 4-4-4 for 5 gallons

Looking very promising for 3 weeks !
I dig your thinking and try to accomplish the no stress grow myself . Attitude is 90% of it IMO .
Your plants will tell you if you are doing the right thing or wrong thing , you have make decisions on amounts for what you see.

Yeah I think so too! Trying not to get my hopes too high at this point the next ones up look much healthier and crossing fingers hope to have the feed amount dialed in

The closet girls are taller than the ones in my tent, oh well. Everything seems to be doing okay.

The smells in my tent are amazing. This blue cheese gives off a really sweet scent. Closet ones are starting to put on some size and smell as well.

Blue Cheese is just an aweome strain and makes such good hash. I miss it. Got some Auto seeds from a guy in Latvia in my stash from a couple years ago but haven't planted any yet.

I've had these ones for over 8 years! 5/15 germinated and 3 survived. I know Barney's Farm still carries the seeds but I think the strain has changed a bit

Couple weeks left to go on the Blue Cheese. Kicking myself in the ass for not giving them enough nutes heading into flower but hey learning curves for the next runs. ISS/CM plants in the closet are about 2 weeks behind the others but they are doing well. Taller than the plants in my tent with half the veg time

I'm pretty happy with the results so far! Hope to get a decent pull from this run. Made the mistake of not giving enough food but hey that's one of the cons with using organic dry nutrients. There is no easy quick daily adjustment you can make it's like baking a cake. Once that fucker is in the oven you better hope the recipe was correct
