Hey Farmers!
I’ve been dabble’n in growing for years but never really got with it till recently. Got one outdoor and one indoor crop done by myself. Then I took on a couple partners and we built out an 18x18 space and hung 12 Gavitas. We’re about to harvest our third crop. Best one yet and looking forward to the next one. I have a back injury and am not able to do a lot of the physical work so I try to do as much as I can where I can. I like to do research on all things growing, particularly in the areas that we may be having issues with. I have a lot left to learn and thought The Farm would be a good addition to my resources. Ya’ll seem like a good group of folks. :)

Pleased to meet you. I gotta bad back too and it sucks every day, all day long. Can't use prescription drugs cause they make me sick. No I don't have a card. Can't figure why I would need one.
Anything that I can do to help, please drop me a line. Hopefully we can exchange knowledge sometime.
This is a great forum with dynamite genetics.

Hello and welcome. You haven't mentioned it, but I'm sure you're aware that the Shasta Co BOS (or was it the Planning Commission..? crap) has moved to ban cultivation in your county, yes? If not, you may want to learn more about this so you can fight the proposed ordinance.

They recently banned growing full on in Shasta county. Within the city of redding you can grow 12 plants. Do a google search for a local news cast where a city council member did a fly over and you will see why....EVERYONE was going super big...by schools and everything. The Bethel church community up there runs shit and word is that every member of the city council is associated with the church. Watch the video though its madness.

Do you have a link, mayhaps? I've been keeping up with the FB page, but they're linking to stories from a paper that requires you to register before you can see the full story.

So, I can't remember if I've mentioned that I have this group on my FB feed. They've been going out with petitions and registering people to vote, and one of the volunteers was attacked by a sheriff's deputy yesterday, they got it on video.

Heh, one guy keeps calling it their meds!

The 2 deputies and compliance officer that came to my spot up there this last year were severe assholes. They kept mentioning we were harming his children and making it unsafe for them to live in the area. If he cares so deeply for his kin he should move out of methville....thankfully they just wrote us a ticket and bounced...gotta love the law :)
