shooting powder change

I always thought shooting powder was 0-39-25
but the packet i got was 0-9-20.

this is complicating things for me, i would normally used 1/2 strength and since its almost half on this packet so i use full power? instead of 1.3g-2.6g do i go 2.6-5.2?

(Id still go with half the recommended dosage "on the packet") and id be askin where my missing Phosphorus has gone to.... Hmmm might that ratio be based on a high (p) bloom fert they recommend to use in conjunction? (" ,)

PK ppm has gone from 111-135 to 26-108. half a packet is a safe bet. however, a whole packet will keep your ppm near your existing level.

OR, use 24.5g of monopotassium phosphate, which is equivalent to half a packet of old shooting powder (and a damn sight cheaper!) hth

shooting powder is low but most other Phoshate nutes are really high, ive had a number of discussion with people and I guess some people think that high phoshate is good and others go with less now a days. some input if anyone else has heard anything like this?
