Shorty needs to stretch a few inches.

Autos getting approx 14" tall with crowded very large buds that are a bit crowded. If I could get another 6 to 8 inch height I could train them easier. I have a feeling its mostly genetic because others are perfectly stretched and easily trained. White Widow is one that is very short and stocky, Is there anything I could do to encourage stretch or height?

UVB will increase resin production. Make 'em frosty.
