I have had multiple people tell me to keep trying to grow this plant out but from what I know about autoflowers is they don't do well with stress. This plant is 18 days in. If you think I should keep it can you explain how this 2 inch plant could possibly have a decent yield? I am so eager to start over because I know the mistake that I made but am willing to ride it out if someone could explain. Thank you all!

Should i abort this autoflower please help

It stopped growing?
Yea thats the problem with autos no time for mistakes they flower on their own time.

IMHO I’d toss that to the compost bin auto flower plants life cycle are only so long and this one seems to be stunted at 18 days isn’t that long but it’s long enough that you should see progress and if she does pick back up it’ll trigger flower and you will end up with like a 5g plant hope this helps

This is a pic from saturday. It looks the same size just one of the leafs is stretched out now. Should I abort? I rather start over than yield a half a gram lol

This helps tremendously. I know what I did wrong so I am already eager to start over I just needed a second opinion.

This is the tallest of them all at 2 inches. Should I also abort this one as well?

I usually try to keep my plants growing because I view doing so as a skill I want to develop. I just did that with two autos. They didn't want to grow, but eventually they did. They're flowering now and it looks like there will be an okay yield. I have three tents, however, so I can have other plants growing while I'm waiting to see what a plant might do. Your plant looks like it could grow. The risk is low yield, as others said.

How much light are you giving it? Insufficient light can result in slow growth. So, maybe turn up the light to see what it does. If it doesn't respond, start over with a photo.

I normally plant the seeds in a 5 gal pot and work it from that autos take tremendous stress when up potted rule over f thunmb start what you finish in pot wise

You see all that curling? I started with too much light. The mistake I made was over confidence. I had a good grow and didn't test my grow area before beginning. I live in the midwest and the RH is 10 percent inside. I was trying to avoid putting the humdifier inside the tent and pumped it in threw a duct pipe which created a damn fog of mist! most likely sufficating the plants.

This is how I made the mistake. The first auto grow I went from dixie cups to 3 gal. Second grow I went fron 1 gal to 2 gal. I kept hearing to leave it in its forever home and tried 3 gal and I'm never trying it again. I had no problem translplanting the first two times

I had a few that looked like that initially, its overwatered , i saved some by misting with diluted root juice and putting a humidity dome over it , and NOT adding any more water . Its taken me 2 years to learn when NOT to water, plants at this stage tend to pause for a week while they put most energy into putting some roots down.
if you pinched anything off it i would say throw it because thats puts them under too much stress early on . i would dig it out and put it in a smaller pot , keep it warm and forget about it ,when the soil starts drying it might perk up.

One the hardest concepts for me to grasp!😂 “hey look the plants look great! im going to water!” 🤦‍♂️ I just killed two more of my seedlings over the last couple of days! I hate seedlings! 🤣 ✌️

I would have already culled them. Go goofy your out especially with autos. Once they pop the life clock starts. Autos best be high stepping and in the game or they are gone.
