I have a fair amount of experience but I’m no expert. This Thai Runtz plant has done extremely well. It’s not an auto flower but it flowered well before all of the others. I suspect there must’ve been some auto flower genetics in it. All of my other photo periods are a month behind this one. It has massive buds hanging on these branches that look like they’re nearly ready to break. These buds have been huge for almost 3 weeks. They are loaded with trichomes but hardly any Amber ones. I keep checking but it doesn’t seem to be progressing in that regard. The longer I leave buds this size hanging the better the chance I’ll start experiencing some bud rot. Any good advice would be greatly appreciated.

I see amber in trichomes, and they look cloudy with amber pistils... id say yes, but honestly im no expert on the matter either.. I do know amber trichomes produce a more "stuck to the couch" effect

Man what a beauty!! It's totally your call, but if i saw what you see on my plant and knowing how the weather forcasts are i may just cut the most upper buds/colas and leave the lowers longer? Lovely plant. Congrats.

I was actually thinking along those lines as well! I’ll take the top most buds and process them. I’ll wait until I see ample amber trichomes and do a second harvest. I’ll clearly label/date them during the curing process because they no doubt have some subtle differences in user effect.
