never heard of light poison, but yeah poison sounds bad.
as long as he stays in the 25000-60000 Lux there shouldn't be a problem. imho

looks like zinc deficiency, not sure why but your plants not uptaking zinc.

you are hand watering hydroton? that won't work, hydroton doesn't have cations like soil or soilless mediums. you could literally top feed all day with a pump, or do an ebb and flow setup. feeding once a day probably won't be enough feeding if your medium is hydroton.

yo yo yo, i'm pretty sure
seedlings can take the full light of a HID, don't quote me bro

tru tru
just so fort isnt confused:

yes HID will speed up deficiency if you have one.

rooted clones can take the intensity of HID light

healthy seedlings love light, HID's are just fine if not better.

seedlings damaged at a young age may never recover.

IMHO's

a zinc deficiency? to be honest i think it might be the light poison or light burn the other guy was talking about because all the leaf burning and brown/yellow cotyledons started happen once i moved the plants close to the light for a couple days and it hasn't really gotten anywise since that happened, in fact, there has been some growth although its been kinda slow i can definitely see growth but yeah I've upped the hand watering on the seedlings (if you can still call them that, its been 2 weeks in the net pots) to twice a day with 250ppm. I'm thinking about just saying fuck it and put them in the flood tray with my AKs at 500ppm under the 400w, flood every 6 hours like the AKs, how you think they'd do?

Maybe switch them into some light warrior soil?they look so stressed though you may lose them :drunk:

And what size light is that? They should be under a simple flourescent light

Really? well don't quote me but most growers cut clones under under florous or t5's yet alone a baby seedling that's sick :)

nah I'm too invested in hydro and I've seen growth since the whole thing happened once i put them close the the light, which i think the burnt tips might just be light burn or "light poison" but its 2-24w t5 bulbs 6500k

I understand that, but I garentee those would be much healthier in a cup of dirt. Then once you established a root zone put them in the hydro and they would be green take off.

if it was light burn you wouldn't have def from the bottom to the top. it would start from top to bottom.

nah the ones with the def from the bottom up and the ones of suspected light burn are 2 different plants under 2 different lights. I'm still having problems but i have a question for you, i been having problems using maxigro powder nutes so I'm thinking of switching to flora nutes (was going to use lucas formula for flower either way) and i hear the best npk ratio for veg is 3-1-2 and i calculated using 10ml of micro and 8ml of bloom would make basically the perfect 3-1-2 ratio @ 162-53-108 with 36-mg (use 1g/gal epsom) 162-ca. my question is would this work or do i have something wrong? I'm using r.o btw

Keep it simple!!! youll be doing yourself a favor.
following instructions on the bottle bro

i feel like i'm repeating myself, if you're going to go buy a new nute why not use the one i already recommended.

maybe you've updated something with your system since we last spoke, but like i said before, you better have a watering system if you're planting in hydroton or you will fuck this up.

recap,
1) fix your irragation system (if you haven't done so already)

2) buy AN
