Should I mix lime with ffof?

Should I mix lime with ffof soil? I heard growers say ffof is like 5.8 ph when wet and then goes to normal 6.8 as it drys . If I do add lime, How much should I mix ? Thanks

You shouldn't need to. It should be buffered.

If you add lime you will alter the pH and cause problems with nutrient absorption. Just pure clean water for the first few weeks.

I always add an extra cup or so of dolomite lime to a bag of OF to stabilize/buffer pH throughout the grow. Never ever an issue adding it✌

Yeah, shouldn't be an issue to add a bit extra. I would if you plan of feeding a bottled nutrient regimen. Synthetic salts can toxify soil pretty quick if not watered/flushed properly.
