Should I trim or top my plants?

Hello,

I am in the process of completing my first grow and my plants are in the first week of flowering. The plants were about a foot and a half when I started flowering. I have been reading about topping the plants and was wondering if this would be a good idea for a hydro set up with limited space? If not, should i bend back any branches to expose the bud sites? Thanks. Please reply if you need any more info i will be glad to supply it.

usually you would top it before flowering, prob could bend them if needed

Hey AG; welcome to the farm. I've found it best to train during veg, but if you bend your gals over and tie 'em down, they'll still yield more for ya. Check out some of the threads posted by True Grit to see Low Stress Training (LST) done properly. Good luck, and happy growing!
