Single Leaves On Flowering Outdoor Plants

I was gifted 2 plants from an indoor grow that were only about 1.5ft out of the pot, so way young. I take them home n set them outside. One started budding way early, the other started pistols middle of July. It started the first week in June and its only chest high. But now I notice it has single leaves coming off the buds. Not quite sure what's going on here. Any help would be great. I'm in Michigan and they should not of started budding that early.

Yup, you need to transition the light period when going from indoor to out.
