Hey Burn, here's a vpd scale. Hopefully this helps. It's nice to stay in that range, plants will still grow outside of it. If you have the time/availability, you can always mist your plants at lights out when rh is that low. Seedlings don't really need that high of rh. Again, somewhere close to the scale is good. Too high and you are at risk for dampening off and may make the seedlings lanky.

Peace!
P-

Lanky...is exactly the word I'd use for my seedlings. I thought it was because they were small. But still may be that fact idk yet but I've been pulled back on rh for the past couple days. Thanks for the chart I've read a lot on vpd. So much my eyes were bleeding. I get it and totally get what it is/does but can't seem to find my happy spot in my space. I will though. Nothing stopping me lol

Took p.o.s humidifier back and got a solid one. Now im getting closer to the vpd chart temps at 72-74° and RH at 40-⅝∅% depending on climate outside. My question is though isnt RH swinging bad? Or is that 5-10% ok? Thanks

You aren't going to be able to avoid the swing when u get into bigger pots and 12/12 on the big light., I do about 50%avg during lights on and it jumps as high as 80% especially right after lights out. I keep my tower fan on 24/7 and get as much ventilation as possible, ie doors/ windows open when possible.

When should i take dome off plants for good? Jw because they seem a little drooped and i may have over watered or its the dome just holfing humidity in. Im asking because my room outside of dome is about 40 to 50% so i didnt know about going from higher humidity to lower and have more problems lol

Week 3 today...
transplanted into 2.5 gal containers. 1 2 and 8 looked good enough to keep. I trashed the rest. That was hard to do. My mix is 9gal of base(2:1 FFOF:FFHF) 2.5gal of perlite, close to. 5Gal of vermiculite 8tbls of dolomite lime. I watered with about 1/5 of containers size isthat right? Gave em half gal apiece of big bloom and kangaroots 200 ppm. Does this all sound right? Will post pics when around pc.

i did also put an inch layer of chunky perlite in the bottom of pots. to help my noobie ass with not over watering. again this is bag seed so i really could care less. i just want to get one under my belt and to dial in room before popping my good gear. ok pics are as follows...
these are a couple days ago when i first thought i should transplant but didnt.

and this is what a couple days did with me procrastinating. so mad at my self but i guess you live and learn

any guess from anyone if this looks like i should of did it sooner? it looks like over watering but i am sure that isnt it being i was scared of doing so. anyway ill give it a bit to see what it does. thanks for checking in guys

stoners on top of transplanting? lol
everybody's had issues at some point. Give em some time to grow legs. They look a tiny bit shocked. I started rolling my rooted cup-plants' rootball in OGBiowar's Nute pack before transplant with stressed out clones, .and the results blew my mind. I would think some azos or similar put in your transplant hole would help with stress almost as good..maybe.
Not sure if they need the BB and Kanga..even at low ppm's just yet. The FFOF is hot enough to grow those plants to be a foot tall with branches. Also, why the BB..why not Grow Big? I wouldn't start with the Kanga either until they get legs and are on their way. With all the lime and nutes in FFOF..you should be straight with aerated tap...at least another 1-2 weeks. Then some RO and weak vegg nute once they are actively growing.
my 2 sense..take it or leave it

And i knew i shouldn't have done so with BB and stuff. Im a little scared now. Ill wait and see. What can i do to help with the shock?

don't be skeert meign..lol...it'll be alright:)
Patience..let them adjust..let those pots dry out a bit. I've had young plants throw absolute fits in straight FFOF..but given time and enough waterings they all bounced back with a fury. Given you cut it..they will rock out. As a side thought, I'm not sure if you can water in Azos..should be alright..but you might consider for the future for sure. Given they are just babes..less is more on everything else. When the pots get lighter..and it's starting to be time to feed again...just water in light every day instead of enough for the week..don't flood the pot...the roots will go in search of water faster.

Im only using a half gallon each. Thats a 1/5 of containers size. I was told thats proper amount instead of flooding it.

not a bad rule of thumb once the pot is filled with roots...you can read the plants already..when you said "maybe looking a little over-watered" you are able to see the droop. That's the biggest talent a grower can have is to read what the plant needs. Look forward to seeing these turn into some monster bushes!

The art of reading the plant! I would have waited to up pot those but no worries. Let them recover and dry out a little. They should have plenty to eat right now. ;)

My babies are perky today. Not drooped over on verge of suicide lol. And im a fucking idiot too. Week 3? Wtf its only been 2 as of the 27th. I asked my wife to flip through my log book to tell date and well miscalculation and yeah. I was all worried because 3 weeks in it should be a bit bigger i thought. Nope only 18 days in. Man i must have been high as hell to not think about that. Anyway i raised the temp slightly and decreased the RH. I didnt want to but had to assist in the drying so they wouldn't die. I was scared no doubt but i did it. Now i feel they are perking up so i got RH back up to 45-50ish% and temp at 73°. To dry it some i had RH to just under 30% and temps at 77° for two days. And over the course of the day yesterday i increased RH slowly as i could and so temp was brought to where i wanted them. Niw to just kick back and wait for this explosive growth i was told would happen after potting up. Cant wait.

Ahhhh...
Im already fucking things up some how. Idk what it is for sure either. I have browning spots on oldest growth of 2 of my 3 plants. It looks like the same spotting in the charts as cal. 1 is worse than the other. I am due to water soon so my plan of action is to first water to check ph of run off. But after that im lost. Ill post pics in a bit. Not around pc but this is eating me up. Oh i did check everywhere with 30x for bugs. None that i see. Any advice? Please and thank you.
