skipping rocks & moon walking...

I think it all depends on how much space and time (and patience) you have before you want to finish. I think 6 weeks is more than ample.

...i ended up culling this one at 19 weeks 'cause she still wasn't done, i've read that there are some real true sativa's that take 6 months to fully flower out.

peace, bozo

nice man..sum guys in the know have taught me to not even take clones off of a pure sat until the veg plant from seed is 3 months old. Then on top of that, add 6 months of flower..lol. But it's ok to flip the clones when they root.

imo..6 bare min with most hybrids with indica...with sativa dom hybrids I like to go 8 wks. If it's a real sativa..gotta go about 12 weeks...to get the proper expression..nothing really to do with size.

good info. i planned on flippin same time. so probably not a plan then? maybe let it(sativa) go 2 extra weeks in veg?

Most hybrids are gonna be fine with 6 weeks bro...I'd say if she's the type that wants to take 10-11 weeks to fully flower..I'd be more apt to go 8 weeks. But like freespirit says you're gonna be straight if you flip after 6 weeks. I didn't see any of your plants looking like late bloomers..got some nice indica type branching. I always remember though, that seeds need to mature longer than clones to fully express..that's all.

Just read through this thread. They are looking great especially for a first grow. The only thing I would be worried about is leaving your plants in the trays to soak up your run off. This may lead to problems later on. I have no experience with ff nutes though.

I forgot to throw this out there, but if you can get some preflower action going on, I think it will help you out when you flip. My best plants were throwing some nice preflowers before they flipped. Just a little newb idea.

thanks for compliment bro:) the leaving the runoff thing i only use so much feed or water so its not much. i do the wet/dry cycle so i figured since it was dry then it slipped between cracks and will be fine to take back up since ph of it isnt bad. am i wrong in doing so? this is my first grow so that would be good info to have. thanks for stoping by too

Like I said I haven't used ff nutes, it may be fine if it's all organic I really don't know. Most of what I grow is hydro using GH 3 part. Letting plants soak up my runoff would cause toxic salt build up in my medium. When I grow in soil with organic nutes I do it the same way just to be on the safe side. I'm sure someone will know if it's a concern with ff nutes.

thanks for helping out OG triple OG. is that why it looks kinda raised up a little compared to #2 and #8? trying to narrow it down. so if i flower them to be 100% sure on sex how long do i have before i have to snatch any males?

yes that is why it is raised up, because its male, as long as you check your plants daily i would give till your female parts show and if you see any saks forming pull the male asap! is the male trying to be the tallest plant in room? curious
