Yeah... looking back I think I should have done less root boosting and not add the veg booster, but they are autos so I didnt expect this, even the max average height is 1,60 and 2 of them passed it. Im wondering if they want more blue light but then again sometimes I get some really dwarf phenos... with autos. Oh well, thankfully the LED bar above the 2 tall ones make me worry less, plus the side lights that I just recently started turning on aswell.

I gotta do some root boosting for my next run. Ive never seen an auto get that tall. Are you gonna run some photos after this one?

I do a lot of root boosting cause I plant the germinated seed in 5 gallons. Autos or not, they usually come bigger that way, with no transplant but specially autos. Im most likely going back to photos after this one yes, Blue Dream. Im tempted to go for Bubble Gum auto that I had sitting there for a while, is one of my favorite strains but probably after the next one. Blue Dream next, then auto Bubble or SFV OG Kush.

Day 54. These girls go fast, I didnt think I would update every few days but everything is going quick! They finally have stoped growing but you can see my struggle at the start of the video. If I ever get these girls again, and I will, I will not give them any nitrogen based veg booster, holy molly. Its getting increasingly difficult to film the 2 in the back so I can only show the main colas for those.
Last feeding: Iguana bloom, ancient earth, nirvana, molasses, bud candy, calcium, epsom salts, special enzymes, delta 10 bio pk 12-16.

Day 57. Still fattening and crystalizing, I found a side bud that is bigger than the top lol. All the pistils are still white and the lower buds need to cath up still.

I hate that they are facing the direction of the bulbs cause they got so tall, I cant take a good picture of the colas with the leaves in the middle.

Day 61. I think the side lights are really helping to develop the lower buds. I removed a couple of weak branches early on too. Those 2 popcorn buds growing at the bottom near the main stem are not gonna get any good size I believe but Ill leave them there for the sake of science. This is the second tallest and the one thats gonna finish first I believe, still a couple of weeks to go I see many white pistils and they have to fatten more but it cant be much longer.
Currently feeding: Iguana bloom, ancient earth, big bud 1/2 dose, organic pk 12-16, enzymes.

Cant really get to the 2 on the back, Ill take a pic of them on harvest day, these are the 2 tall ones

I’m on my first grow and I’m currently growing some photos. Auto’s sound interesting but not sure if I’ll try them yet.
They are an absolute pia if you are new. Finicky things

Its my first time working with this strain and my third run with LEDs. Unfortunately I only have 2 75W bulbs and half of them are pointing upwards because they are bulbs, the reflector helps sure but... I have 2 new LED panels coming soon, with fan aswell because god does it get hot in there in summer hahaha. Im getting less yield than back when I used HPS but I was using 600W bulbs... it will hopefully improve with my new purchase theyre 130W each and I can supplement with a bulb for the emptier space light wise.

Day 62. Doing some serious work today, I didnt plan on installing my new lights as soon as they arrived but the heat is way too much with these bulbs. I wanted to wait til the next grow because I dont like changing their lights when theyre used to the ones they have but... Im not impressed with the size of the buds and Im afraid it might be because of the heat, hopefully these last 2 weeks or so they will get fatter.

Currently taking a break after tying branches to push them upwards and save space and putting a couple tutors (I didnt think I would have to but the tall ones are struggling to mantain the weight). Ill post again when the new lights are on!

I was sooo tired yesterday that I completely forgot to show the new set up. As I said I didnt wanna change the lights until the next grow but the heat kinda forced me into it. These panels have passive and active refrigeration while my LED bulbs had none.

The tall ones still need their own LED bar for the colas, I was gonna put one of the bulbs but they dont fit, plants too tall, will do next grow.
EDIT: Im fairly new with LEDs, I know the panels are a bit too close to the plants but until I design them another hanging tool with cord thats the one they have and it doesnt go higher than that. Im monitoring for any change to dimm the lights if necessary.

Day 64. Repositioned the lights and set to max brightness. Buds start looking good, today Ill check the trichomes with a microscope to see how much left they have left but looking at the stigmas seems like they dont have much left.

I would like some input with this because I think I went a bit too far this time with the dry ammendments and they had too much nitrogen. The regular leaves are okay, I saw a couple with too much N when they were young but nothing else. But then I look at the leaves in the buds and it looks like they had a bit too much nitrogen. What do you guys think? Is it N or just the strain? Might have been the heat? They have been at very high temps for 1 week til I was able to change the lights. We were having a mild summer and suddenly temps went up like crazy.

Think you’re right on track with your diagnosis. VPD can effect the way nutrients are taken up as well, but with the small tip burn and darker leaves indicate sufficient N and probably a little excess during flowering but nothing too drastic, I don’t see any reverse taco leaves.

Thanks a lot for the input man. Yes is nothing too crazy, buds should be fine, but I need to readjust my next dose of dry ammendments yes... also maybe compliment with another bloom liquid with less N than Iguana Juice. I think I went too far this time with the worm castings in particular.

Day 70. They should have finished already according to the seed bank timing which is 60 days from seed to harvest. I see it as normal, probably like many others, even though Im worried that the change of light might have stressed them a bit. Stigmas keep turning orange, no amber trichomes that I could spot so far:

I cant reach the two in the back for a decent picture of the colas but they are slightly smaller, they also seem to be a few days behind. The new set up makes them recieve less light than before, I hope I dont have to chop 2 and then the other 2, I want to dry them inside the indoors because the alternative is a cardboard box until they're all ready, and I would have to chop them into a million pieces to fit the tall ones in there (which are the ones that seem to be closer to finishing)

God its been a while, forgot to update here Ive been bussy IRL. Total time from seed to harvest around 80 days. I dont know if its the strain, the way I ammended the soil this time or too much heat but I was expecting bigger buds by how they were looking. Having to change the lights in late flower because of the heat wasnt ideal and a few top leaves got burned with the new LED panels, they were not used to UV and they are also double the Watts almost, but none of the buds got bleached which is good.

I cant blame the strain considering it might have been the excessive heat or the change of light, but Im not gonna repeat either, this has been my less productive grams per plant grow with LEDs so far, I think theyre not very good handling stress, my previous auto run was way more productive. Next up is fat banana photo, looking forward to that one, already grown it and its a thc beast with good fruity sweet flavour and very decent yields. Also looking forward to tasting this one when its cured, Ill update when I do a taste test.
