Hi guys hello to you all my fellow green fingered friends this my first forum and my first grow after a 2 year hiatus I’m a bit rusty so any advice is welcome ..im a pretty successful outdoor grower but I have found the indoor can be a bit harder to diagnose issues as it can so many different things …
So I am growing in coco with house and garden A and B with roots exceluator and enzyme plus with bloom cal mag and sea minerals with , silica under 450w LED’s I use a calibrated Blulab ph pen and ec stick …I follow the guide lines to the T, …my lights are 27 inches above the canopy at 50 percent light strength atm. I just potted up to the next size I gave them a foliar spray with a great Nutritech black gold seaweed fish emulsion fertiliser as a helper.they look in general really healthy there was some discolouration before I potted up into washed and buffered coco but I didn’t buffer at the right strength of 7.5 ml a litre I just did at 1 ml a litre by mistake in the past I haven’t even buffered and it was fine …I include some photos let me know your thoughts as I’m litte confused as to the issue thanks in Advance cheers Htk.

They look good. There's some interveinal chlorosis that could mean they need Mg or the light could be too intense for young plants.
Yea thanks mate I was thinking either cal mag or lights …Im thinking leave them to settle into the new pots for another day or so and if it worsens lift the light and if it worsens again a cal mag foliar spray at least the. I’ll know what was going on …thanks very much for a quick reply I appreciate that bro🙏

Hello there community …another issue has arisen …I saw it a couple of days ago so made a new batch of nutes kept it pretty simple : house and garden A and B, multi enzyme, roots excelerator and bloom cal mag , heaps of run off, checked run off was only a couple of points higher than input …Ph pen said 5.9 checked with pool testing was good EC was 1.9 it’s only affecting the lower leaves with paling to yellow/green with some brown spots it’s only on a few plants ….but I imagine it would eventually spread …any ideas folks? Thanks in advance cheers crew 🙏🙏

It'd be better for a coco coir grower to advise you. It might help to know the temperature and humidity.

I'm guessing there's more than one problem based on the look of that leaf. It looks nitrogen deficient, but that's not likely to be the cause of the necrotic spots.

I’m thinking it could be light stress again …I did turn up the lights to 50 percent have turned down again ….i just woke up and had a look inside the tent all the leaves are back horizontal or more ….im pretty certain I’m getting all the nutes at correct levels …..it’s a bit cold here in aus but I’ve got heat Matt’s in there and slowed the exhaust fan down and when I got in from work last night tent was 24c and 64 humidity ….im not gonna stress too much even though the leaf I sent photo of was pretty horrifying 😂….ill get into my rhythm at some point … cheers brother

Best I can do for ya. Hope it helps.

Your not gonna try grow all of them in the pictured tent are you if you do it’s gonna be really overcrowded
😂😂…no mate they are just under 1 light atm soon I’ll switch on the other half of the tent and when that gets too full I’ll swing some of em outside to my huge raised beds …usually end up with 6 in the tent ….its winter here in the subtropics of Australia so as soon as they go outside they switch to flower ….thanks for the concern though bro…

They are looking a bit perkier today after turning the lights down to 40% …Im not certain that’s the problem but they are 450 watt Samsung’s and at 50% were still a bit strong for the newbies it’s the beginning of my weekend so I’ll have more time to suss it out ..gonna take em out give em a Nutritech black gold foliar spray and check the roots to see what’s happening down there …might also give em a cal mag foliar spay in a few days ….thanks or the support people really enjoying the forum lots of interesting styles out there 🙏👍
