Hey all,

Week 4 flower

Really hoping to get some help with my grow tent. 4of6 plants seem to be thriving however the other two sort of struggling in the trichomes department. Some downwards pointed leaves.

I feel like I could have introduced a couple problems myself. Either overwatering, a plant tea high in nitrogen or too much humidity during lights out before I got my dehumidifier set up. It’s worth noting that these plants are closest to my main air intake.

Right hand side most affected. Close ups are of the same strain but different seeds. One seems to be thriving however the other has practically no developing trichomes.

Is it too late for these guys or maybe just slow developing. Also wondering if maybe PM or some other problem.

Thanks to any and all

Organic soil. A couple close ups of the leaves of the plant that is slower developing and seems upset.

I’m not really seeing anything wrong with the leaves,

Looks like a healthy sativa to me

Try lower your humidity to around 45/55%

This will increase the transportation preriod
Meaning they’ll drink the water faster increasing the watering frequency

In organic soil think of it as feeding the soil instead of feeding the plant

If worries about an increase in nitrogen give it a good flush till run off and amend with your pk boosters

Apart from tht looking good they’ll fill out really good after a small defoliation

Take a guess nd say there in week3/4

Just monitor the ph I wouldn’t worry to much everything’s green

The slowing down you’re on about might be the end of the stretch now the plants gonna focus it’s energy into producing fat buds

Trim lower larf tht won’t amount to nothing nd trim any leaf covering buds nd tht should lower the humidity and f focus all your light onto the buds

Ok. Glad to hear it! You think those downward leaves straighten out? Maybe something about it being closest to the intake and a garage grow slowing down the two plants nearest to it? Different microclimate?

I added a 100w heater near the intake and hoping that might help raise the temps a bit. Average around 78 degrees lights on around 70-72 lights off. Wondering if I might be better off trying to get that up into the low 80s.

Keeping humidity around 45RH for the lower temps.

Thanks for your advice! Will just be calm. Didn’t really think about the whole sativa thing being slower developing. Hybrids from a different seed perhaps just going to be a 10 week flower instead 8-9

how often are you watering ? do you let it dry out ? they definately prefer that to being wet all the time.

I don’t use an intake just a decent sized outtake will crate negative pressure nd pull fresh air,

The low temps with high moisture will cause your plants to drink less

Look into vpd, your right with the micro climates, treat the room nd the plants will thrive, faster dry backs more frequent feeds faster growth

I aim for around 25c nd 62% in veg
19/22c flower with 45/55%

I think I’ve been guilty of overwatering at times. Usually about 1 liter into 5 gallon pots fabric every 2-3 days. I think a small heater near the roots and an extra fan down there might help dry things out quicker now.

I usually just lift pots to see. Might have overwatered for awhile fearing I over nitrogened them and trying to flush and correct the downward leaves. Seem to be mostly stuck like that now so I think I’ll just pluck a bunch of them during defoliation so I don’t need to see the sad ones lol

Trichs will be because its a different pheno.

Curled leaves by intake could be just an indication it's too cool there plus that high humidity.

The vpd in that area is a lil wack I bet.

Doing well otherwise. Keep goin.
