Thank you for the information and the link!capital F those warm mist ones unless you're cool with cleaning it every like 2 weeks.
get a cool mist. the warm mist have a heating element that calcium (from the water) adheres to and eventually needs to be cleaned. until its cleaned, it will lose little flakes off the element and its now in your water. and as the water is warmed, the plastic condensates and leaks water out the bottom where the vent is to prevent the heating element from overheat. not a problem if you put the humie in a plastic bin but its not worth it imo. very effing irritating. i had mine in one of them freezer ice bins.

Do you think an essential oil diffuser would humidify the tent as well? That would be a two birds with one stone issue if it didcapital F those warm mist ones unless you're cool with cleaning it every like 2 weeks.

Most of the all natural sprays are essential oils. Spearmint, Lavender, rosemary, garlic all ward off different kinds of insects so I figured diffusing essential oils into the air would ward them off as a small preventative measure. As long as the diffuser isn't like right next to your buds on your plantI don’t see why it wouldn’t but I also don’t see why you’d want one inside your tent, idk what essential oils do for plant life
if i used one i wouldnt use it once i'm a week from flowering. i wouldn't want any possibility of my nugs being in a scented room unless its marijuana scented by mother nature. Most of the all natural sprays are essential oils. It’s a dry climate and the plants don’t produce enough humidity to keep rh around 65-70% like I want. Most commercial facilities have humidifiers as well so this isn’t that uncommon. Just plants usually can’t keep humidity that high with a/c going as wellWhy uh, why do you want to add humidity to your grow?
What kind of climate do you live in that in an enclosed area humidity beyond what the plant produces would be a hindrance to growing?
Are they suffering in some way or being retarded by the lack of humidity? It’s a dry climate and the plants don’t produce enough humidity to keep rh around 65-70% like I want.
