You put your house plants into Smart Pots? Hhmmm...
<Sea considers the remnants of her poor philodendron...>

They did for me and many people I know that use them. They allow proper airation.
All you need for proof is at the end of harvest take the plants out of the pots and look at the roots. Compare them to how much Loose soil is left.
If there are 2 plants side by side, using the same number pot. You will see the SP will harvest more.
You must know how to water a plant when using containers.
Have you ever noticed the circling in the Plastic pots? Have you ever noticed them in Smart Pots? I think not.

What I have noticed using SP's is my plants grow wider and not taller and lankier like they do in plastic containers.

I guess it all boils down to what works best for you. And Smart Pots work best for me.

The material is the stuff they sell in the garden center at Lowes or home depot. It is the weed blocker stuff they use for flower beds to block weeds from coming thru.

Ive said quite a few times in smartpot threads that they do prevent root circling and create a perfect rootball which is more like a thick mat but my own results don't prove anything, ive never seen a plant in a smartpot indoors that looked as nice and bushy as mine do in smartpots but I also have not done a side by side but at the sametime I have seen many other growers grow them nice and bushy and use hardplastic so it really doesn't prove anything if I have nice looking plants.

Im not breaking anybodies records or growing nicer plants in smartpots than some other guy using hardplastic.. How can I say the smartpots are responsible when there are so many variables in growing?

Im not willing to claim something which will boost the sales of a company dramatically without a side by side that proves that smartpots are better.

They work really well but dont move your plants around all that much with these and do not buy the ones with handles they just piss you and get in the way.
