Anybody that has any info to the laws pertaining to mj smoking in Dubia (United Arab Emirates) please post up. I am going there for work next week and will be there for awhile. I need my meds and dont know how I am going to have to cope without them while I am there if I have to live without getting my daily dose.
Any info on internet access, cell phone coverage (verizon) anything that will help make my transition there as smooth as possible would be greatly appreciated. tia, dogless

yeah sorry i didn;t have anything more substantial to add to that I am not savvy to the laws of the area.... though it seems that region isn't of the friendliest and forgiving.

Yea man the UAE has some of the strictest laws, for locals and tourists, and you better beleive tourists get picked out of the bunch....esp if your white...

Some DJ in the uk went to dubia, he had 0.001 grams of hash on his shoe, and went to jail for a few years..loco

the dj grooverider had 1.8 haf an 1/8 and got fucked im not sure how long(i think he got free'd early)

it was a care worker or something like that who had the 000.1 stuck to the botom of his shoe and he got 2 years

i crazy country

I had a friend who worked there for years with the oil rigs...he was a huge pothead and he had to suck it up because like the others said the laws are fucking nuts....my advice don't take the chance and be safe bro.

Thanks my brothers, I am sure glad I asked. I had already drilled out several 3/8" holes in the heels of my shoes to pack em with meds. Guess its plan B (set up appt. with physician in Dubia for hydrocodone script).
Thanks for the links redog. I had also planned to take some prescribed meds with me but seems that will compromise my freedom as well.
Dubai must really be anti mj since there doesnt seem to be any thcfarmers posting up.

I'd be looking into your perscription getting you beheaded to man.
I've heard some whacked stories about those places.

Here's one:Had a friend go over to some dune country (can't remember which one) to teach skydiving to a few select rich boys.Well one of the guys bounced and the country wanted this guys head.
I understand you can't even look at Playboys or Hustlers over there without having to worry about getting the family jewels removed.Friggin' crazy. . . and totally hypocritical.

Yeah...be careful in Dubai. They are strict and it's not worth it to go jail or get executed for smuggling drugs into the country. I would def look more into their drug laws.

That counts even if it was an erased file on your laptop. If you get picked for the laptop inspection I hope for your sake it's a brand new one that hasn't been on the net.
Besides the fact that hash is readily available. The cops will even sell it to you and then bust you for possession. Don't take a chance. Better off to take only new clothes (head to toe, shoes included) if a milligram will get ya 2 years! JMO

You will also end up doing jail time for prescribed drugs. Eg, Codiene based drugs, complete with Drs script will land you promptly in the slammer.

A place to avoid at all costs.

Let me get this straight, no getting high, no pain meds, no surfing the net every hour to check thcbay for new cali cannection and ogr strains to drop and if I get caught stroking it I get my balls caught off? I already know that if you get caught fooling around with their women I will most likely disappear.
I guess I have to look at the bright side that I will be staying in a 6 star hotel and getting back home just in time to harvest, thats if my son's don't jack me while I leave them in charge.
Keep the info coming, I need all the help I can get. Anything positive that I can look forward to? Thanks, dogless

Amazing weather. Scenery, culture - food. Indoor snow ski slope in the middle of the dessert. Sand dune buggying, boarding.

Loads to do - just stay clean.

I highly recommend you buy new clothes and carry bags for the trip. Shoes / sneakers also. You do not want ANY fragments of herb on you. And if you have dredds, well, I would either cut them off or seriously reconsider your trip. Don't look like a stoner basically and youll be fine!

I say a place to avoid - only if your like us and like to get high. Else, UAE is a place I very much would love to visit. The hospitality is like no other.

Have a great time. I am sure you will and you'll have some memories to stay with you forever.
