When you say cloning, (being a first year grower I am learning the terms). You mean cutting the sections you are going to clone..... this is what I am doing, getting rid of the fan leaves and the small ones that grow up around the clones... correct. Isn't this called trimming?I have those too. I like the ones i posted better for trimming. I use the spring ones for cloning. Easier to get in tight places.
I also use a pair of hair cutting scissors for trimming sometimes. Mrs. Mmg is a cosmetologist so we have some hair scissors of different shapes and sizes around.
Thanks for the clarification. He means to take the cuttings in tight spaces.
I fell in love with a pair of scissors that came in a suture removal kit from the Drs office. Every week I get a new pair for treatment of leg issues and they are great! The tip is vey sharp and pointed, making it perfect for getting into tight spaces and nipping off just the areas that are desired. They are pretty cheap, but sharp and pointed.

Darn it. I didn't even think of the sharpener. Ordered two of the scissors, with the resin resistant, fluorine coated. Could not decide on the spring loaded or not. Decided not this time. But I did get the cleaner that you just put the scissors into. They just last. I've had my first pair going on 3 years almost now. Stainless and carbon steel ones. Just make sure to get a scissor sharpener. You can get a Fiskar one off amazon for like 7 bucks if you want a cheap one. For trimming tho spring loaded ones. Everything in the rooms Chikamasa.
