This is finally the first time I have managed to hold off long enough to post a grow from start to finish... well... ALMOST to finish. I'm pretty tired so I'll just do the quick write-up now and then I'll break it down week by week when I have time tomorrow afternoon.
Here is all of the info you want to know about the grow:
Genetics:
Element Zero - Personal stock. Made from BC Big Bud and Mr. Nice bag seed acquired from Greenway dispensary in Santa Cruz, CA. Crossed together. Indica dominant with a kind of mossy, peppery, hash flavor. Hints of some kind of berry on the exhale. Extremely dense, prone to hermaphrodism around day 45-50 flower (a real bummer sometimes) and due to the unstable parent genetics. I might use this strain some day later to breed a little denseness into a loose strain, but I'm done growing it for smoke.
Nirvana Ice: White family genetics. I got a 10 pack of reg seeds and grew out one to completion in a previous grow. It has a flavor like sour cream, or plain frozen yogurt, or pure half and half creamer. Think of something white and creamy... but not sweet. That was the first Ice I grew. But I figured what the hell, I'll grow out some more. I got 4 more girls (5/10) and found 3 other phenotypes. Haven't smoked them yet, they smell sweeter, with hints of lemon/cedar when I shake them, a little skunky too.

Growing environments:
Started under daylight CFLs in party cups in a 2x4 tent. Then upgraded to 400w MH. Then moved to the 5x5 tent and transplanted into ~8L of coco mix in #3 SmartPots under 1000MH, sexed and flowered using a 12 hour per day 145,000 lumen Eye Sunlux enhanced spectrum HPS and ~8-10 hours per day of a vertical 45,000 lumen 400w Digilux enhanced spectrum MH. Temperature maintained between 64 degrees low and 82 degrees high (the entire grow) with the averages of most days and nights being about 78 as the high and 68 as the low. Most of the time spent at 74 to 76 degrees. Humidity from 72% to 30% throughout the grow spending most days between 40% and 55% humidity.
Grow duration:
Seeds were planted on February 12th. Most plants were above ground by February 17th (all the keepers anyway). The flip to 12/12 was on March 19th and they are 58 days into flowering today. I have harvested 3 plants of 9 already and will be harvesting the remaining 6 over the next week.
Pictures:
1) Day 3 under CFL bulbs
2) 2 weeks later, just prior to transplanting
3) Day 2 of 12/12 lighting
4) About 15 days later
5) About 15 days after that
6) About 15 days after that
7) Day 52-53 of 12/12 lighting
