Yeah but not root bound. Worst case some root pruning if needed but I have had close to solid pails of roots. The challenge is keep the ppm and ph stable.

I’ve found from limited experience but actual experience with bucket DWC the less free space for solution the more you get pH or EC swings because of the low volume you’re working with. Maybe rootbound wasn’t the best word. Too many roots for the limited space sounds better.

if I set my trio nutrient solution to around 500
And then add cal mag she shoots up to 700. Should I dilute her down from 700 back to 500 or is it ok cuz the trio nutrients were only 500 to begin

You could go 7 gallon "tall" bucket.

Yeah thats OK... see how she responds after a few days.

I would change the cal mag to give about 100-150ppm. 200 is a bit much imo
