Soap water turning leaves red/brown? Pics

I have aphids.

I sprayed soap water on the plants. maybe a little too much soap and maybe a little too frequent of spraying... I really wanted thedead.

Anyways, my leaves look like shit now and I think it’s from the soap. What do you guys think?

the one plant that had the most eggs got the most spraying and is the brownest.

What kind of soap? Dawn is a degreaser and can destroy leaves.

It’s dawn. Figured they use it on ducks so why not plants lol. Also read that dish soap and water is an aphid killer... more like a fan leaf killer lol. I think it did tone down my small aphid problem a bit though.

Did some googling. Yup. Dawn is a degreaser not a soap and it’s hard on leaves and they will recover. Live and learn I guess!!
