SoCalAero Hydro-Star DWC

First ran across this system on Ebay a few weeks ago. Haven't found anymore info until now. Found a clip on youtube that led me to their website. socalaero.com
Spoke with them on the phone and were glad to answer all my 20 questions.
Told me a chiller is not necessary for this system as long as you keep your room 78 or below.
Said they can be linked together and can modify for you for an extra fee but designed it that way for less chance of leaks.
What do you guys think?

meh, deff not as advanced as mpbs or undercurrents.

looks like i could make it really easy with some pvc pipe and a keg bucket. No real custom parts except the little lid. Seems really gimmicy and the cage that is sold with is would probably be better if it was a tomato cage (even tho they diss on tomato cages and "silly yo yos" on their site.

I would like to see some weed grown it in. Its just a areo/bucket hybird.

That is what I like about this system. The simplicity.

I wouldnt call it simple. Simple in hydro reminds me of hempy buckets.
