The first 4 look pretty good for throwing into flower if you were to put them in now but in 2 weeks they will be alot bigger.I would just try to keep all of those plants around 1.5 feet. Your jackda rippers and ak 47's are huge!!! :D I would just take the tops off to about the same height at the lateral branches. Remember once you get used to your strains they streched differently in flower so just pay attention or write it down how much they strech that way next time you know extactly how tall you need them to be when they are put into flowering. That way they dont end up getting way to big. Dont be afraid to cut those bitches while in veg they will grow right back you will be suprised how fast.

Revegging

pliscan said:
I see buds on all the branches so I worry that I'll lessen my yeild somewhat if i start cutting them off. I dont know if i will be able to tell which ones to cut. This is my first attempt at growing. I really appreciate you guys responding to my post.

I'm doing a fair amount of reading on revegging a plant. There is indications that you will receive a better high and better yield the second time through...
Just something for ya to chew on

imvho, topping is not as important as training is for increased yields - but proper pruning is probably the most important. pick the strongest 4-6 (up to 8 if your plant has the rootage) strongest looking branches and cut everyting else off. If you haven't been training, then your yield will sufer a bit but if the branches are spaced enough for good ventilation you should be okay. If you clear most of the unproductive branches a week or two before flowering, yield, if not nuggetry will be better, as you allow some time for the wounds to heal, and you will avoid more of those popcorn nugs a lot of peeps dont like.

Fan/water leaves should be left on as they do feed growing flowers. I tested this on a Chemdog D plant once. branches with clipped fan/water leaves had nugs that did not "connect." branches with fan/water leaves had connecting nugs that were even denser.

pandaman your jungle looks great! nice job. An FLA don,t know if the high is better but can honestly say that the re veg that is running as we speak is healthier an more complex in structure then the org. took a top site off at week 3 into flower an planted it an waited to see if it would revert it did but it took a long long time. i guess it could be a clone - reveg. IT was in flower so reveg it is lol. be safe peabody.

Thanks for the kind words guys :)

kreeper66, I don't know what "OP" means, where did you see it?

SOG stands for "Sea of Green". A term used to describe an area that has a dense canopy of leaves. Most commonly used to describe a type of grow that contains many plants of the same strain in a tightly packed area.

Hope that helps

Greetings I have been reading this thread and have reached two conclusions. I agree with Sedate and JUDICIOUS trimming of fan leaves is beneficial.Been there, done that!My second conclusion is Sun Simulator hit it out of the park!Try your ideas ,take notes and SHARE you findings.Everyone does different but we try to arrive at the same place. The reason we are all here is to learn from each other.I grew monster dank outdoors for years but this indoor growing is a whole new animal.I've learned so much here I actually have a Micro grow that I think is kicking ass for my first shot.thanks Farmers

I have 2 nl plants that are exactly the same. except i yanked the fans on one. god dam i wish i never did that. the other one has a 100 hps shining up. there is no question the one i pulled leafs from has more orange hairs than white and smaller buds. the one with a shit ton of leafs is less developed at 52 days but the buds are way fatter. i thought id open the plant to more light by pulling fan leaves but Ll i did i feel is give it a sun burn. it seems like the one i yanked fans off is well done at 52 days but the other one is medium well.

but maybe i pulled the wrong ones. whats a left over veg fan. i have no idea what that means. thanks for explaining.
