Having some issue. Little pimples on a few leaves. I had this earlier in veg. I can’t figure out if it’s a nutrient issue or bugs. I’m seriously considering spraying neem oil one last time before I’m too far into flower. \/

Acapulco gold looks crazy though -View attachment 800313
She looks like she loves the nitrogen, those fans are very nice. My buddy had the Acapulco and it was very much like smoking honey. Nice choice

Yeah SOG can be done with many small plants or a few less medium sized ones. Depending on if you go from clone, from seed and how long you veg each, there are many different options. There is some truth in cloning being great for SOG because you can control plant height more. Even though most of my seedlings popped up on the same day (7/10) and the rest the next day, there are a lot of different heights in my tent because I didn’t LST the taller ones before flower. The difference in the plants was mere inches in veg but translated to vastly different heights in flower after they started the ‘flowering stretch.’ Even plants of the same strain stretch vastly different amounts plant to plant.

Evidence:

Two green crack plants in the back left corner won’t stop stretching and the other (bottom middle, darker green) won’t stretch at all.

I’ve even got the shorter one elevated. There’s another good solution to keep the canopy even: elevate shorter plants.
It’s stretching more in the back because it’s getting a little bit less light, do you notice it leaning in towards the center of your tent?

I can’t wait to try it. It’s a gift for the old man, lol. Whenever he mentions smoking bud ‘back in the day’ its always Colombian Red bud or Acapulco Gold.
Mine too!! Where'd ya get the seeds?
Is that a hydrofarm 6" 240cfm?

I got my beans from the Single Seed Centre at https://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com and they’re bred by Barney’s Farm.

My fans a 6” iPower 442cfm but I had to put a cheap controller on it to turn it down. It was sucking the sides of the tent in so far it looked ridiculous. I’ve got a 4x8 tent, I think this fan would work in a 8x8 lol.

There's bars or just PVC you could buy to stop this. I'll be doing this for my next grow.

This is my 3rd grow, previous two were years back and I wanted to take a more professional approach to this one.

I only vegged these babies for 5 weeks and transitioned them to flower in the middle of the 5th week.

Containers: 10 3gal fabric pots (5 black, 5 tan)
Medium: coco coir: two bricks- one GH Coco Tek and one Viagrow Coco Coir broken down and rinsed thoroughly, mixed at 70/30% ratio w perlite
Nutrients and enzymes:
GH Flora series + CALiMAGic + Cannazym
Feed schedule: fed one every few days at the beginning, increased frequency by look of plants until everyday feeding w/ around 1.0 EC + nutes, just started feeding Cannazym once a week. Using a nutrient schedule I found on growweedeasy.com for Coco DTW.
https://www.growweedeasy.com/sites/growweedeasy.com/files/coco-coir-flora-series-schedule.pdf

I’m using the early flower solution rn which is 1/2 tsp FloraMicro Bloom and Calimagic and 1/4 tsp FloraGro per gallon. Also adding 5ml Cannazym per gallon once a week (just implemented, first time was today)

I didn’t charge my coco with nutes before planting <~beginner mistake lol. So I had to supplement calcium early on. Had spotting on some fan leaves, more calimagic cleared it up.

Strains (10 plants):4 Green Crack
1 Tangerine Dream
1 Acapulco Gold (Barney’s farm)
1 Hashchis Berry
1 Bubblegum
1 Lemon Skunk
1 C99

Link to problems I had early on in my grow: burnt seedlings (light too close, too many lumens) https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/brown-tips-on-2-day-old-seedlings.95226/

They are 8 days into flower now. View attachment 799655
Here’s my tent setup, iPower fan, Optic 6ish grow light (ordered from manuf. in China for a discount) 6 COBs and supplemental red and blue diodes. I had to open it up and unplug some one of the COBs early in veg in order to have the light close enough since it wasn’t dimmable. Worked out well though except for the extra labor.View attachment 799656

A 5wk veg is far from anything that cud be considered a sog technique.

Plants look excellent tho

I like to stay on the side of legality during the grow and with CA rules sog will never be an option.

It kind of confuses me how he maintains it in that type of space with that kind of ground cover. I guess part of it is my back but it still seems difficult. I grew 8 in a 10x5 and not one bit of room once in flower. I'm thinking of moving to a 10x10 just so I can walk around and work on each girl easily.

My first round I grew 12 plants in a 4 x 4...all autos. I have switched to 4 in an auto water system and the veg is 2 to 3 weeks longer but seeds are 10 a pop so i think i am ahead of the curve. And that was under a medical script where i can grow 12 inside

Just a question not a judgment at all because with my history I wouldn't have the right.

Isn't a 4x4 kind of small for a 10 scrog? I was under the impression that A scrog was to even the canopy but to take advantage of using fewer plants. It's amazing how many different opinions there are. I was told 6 were to many for a 5x5 and this is way more than that.

Just want to know what the facts are instead of alternate facts
That's what I was thinking as well. Seems I was filling a 4 x 4 with just one or two. 10 would be a friggn handful. But each to their own. Either way the man has some gorgeous vigorous growth going on.
