Im from the Uk and i at the moment im looking for what soil to get, i have an idea of what i need to get but i dont know where to get it with the right stuff but my search hasnt gone well so i was thinking can i still grow in normal soil with no pre added nutrients. is this possible?

"Normal" soil.....as in from the yard...or garden rather than bagged soil?

I would imagine that standard bag multi-purpose potting soil will be okay, it's just that you won't have the added benefits of some of the organic nutrients that come in brand name bagged soil, such as Foxfarms. Not to say that you can't add most of this stuff before and after you've planted anyhow. Worm castings, bat guano, and other microbes are available separately through many different products. I think you'll be just fine as long as you start adding, or mixing organic nutrients soon into your grow.
