So I started this plant about two weeks ago and yesterday I did my transplant to a new bucket (cola Bottle) with my first watering and nutrient. When I checked on my plant around 2:30 today roughly about 24Hr after the transplant I noticed the 2 brown spot on my leaves any input would help.

I’d w8 for someone more informed than me but I’ve been told not to put it in anythink clear because it can root the roots and cause all sorts of problems so I’d blacken it out somehow and do you have good drainage at the bottom of the bottle.

Medium? how much feed? Possibly little over feed or over water. Need more info please

So the soil is a miracle grow potting mix with some work fertilizer but mostly potting mix when I pH the soil mix it was at a 6.4 I then feed them with a mix of the Fox farm grow big and the liquid plant food bloom, made a half gallon of the mix(6.7Ph) and only a cup of it was added to my plant

miracle grow has a lot of nutes in it you should not have to feed for a week or so and you will most likely repot soon after and that soil will have nutes so should be good for another weed or so after transplant.

Also fox farms liquid nutes are very strong I’d start at a quarter of the dose on the back of the bottle everyover watering even at Half strength late in flower I burned my plant I’ve been trying the bio bizz range now seems to be lighter on my plants so far.

O ok that good any idea about the spot or should I just hope for the best, water every 3days and at nutes on the 5 day, an you said I should have to replant in another week or so

I’m not 100% sure but if I had to guess it’s a deficiency caused but to much nutes in the soil I would just feed plan ph water until the first little round leaves start to yellow and if it gets any worse all you can is water the soil with a lot of run of out the bottom of the bottle and hope it recovers if w8 till someone else to confirm this is the case as I don’t want to hurt your little buddy hope all god well and if it seems to not get worse make sure your letting the soil dry out a bit a good inc or so dry soil at the top.

Yep, no nutrients for bit with miracle grow, let dry out between waterings also, itll be fine if you dont give it more for while, still looks healthy

Alright guys so an update on the plants yes I now added two more to the setup so I've changed out the cola bottle for the gallon fabric pot and added two more bag seeds unknown. Labeled them one and two. One was planted before 2 and they sprouted about 2 to 3 days after each other. On to our main plant since we talked last she has lost her bottom leaves and her first tear of leaves but all new growth seems healthy so far, any other suggestions or ideas on what I should do from here to help them along?

PS.. our main plant would have definitely been taller if I had keep bending it over and burying the stem but I did stop bending at what was left of our bottom seed leafs

Adding fertilizer to any type of medium tht already has nutrients in it is asking for trouble, at least in my opinion. Young plants often can't tolerate the high levels of nutes, and adding more nutes will simply make a potentially bad situation worse. Plants don't have the ability to pick and choose whiich nutrients they are going to use and too much food can cause issues which are difficult to repair and too much food can cause issues which are difficult to repair. Plants take a very small amount of nutrients and the ratio in which they reside in your growing medium can really make a difference in your plant's health. I wouldn't feed for at least 6 weeks if using a pre-fertilized medium. Be careful with the Miracle grow soil as it an hold a lot of water, so overwatering is a possibility as well. Over-feeding and over-watering are probably the two most common issues newer growers face.

I don't know if anyone is still following this grow but here is the next update I have ran into a few problem and set back but I'm still going strong an the girls we have left have been doing amazing decided to switch up grow strategies I am now working with the bag seed, seed Number 2 an let me tell you she has me delighted and I also picked a up a new clone she is a Skywalker OG.. I am sad to say that all of our other plant have died do to my own mistake but I think I am doing well with these two.

I have ran in to a slight nutritent issue I haven't been able to diagnose so any input would help. I just flushed both plant today with a bottle and a half of pH water they where fed with 1 and a half cups of nite mix big bloom+ grow big mix in 2liter bottle
