Soil Ph Help

3 function meter from amazon with good reviews says my soil is at 7.

Shouldn't it be about 6? How can I adjust or am I good?

Soil should be high 6s to 7. Personally I like a little lower like 6.5. And those 3 ways aren’t accurate. Do plants show any negatives? I’d say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

6.8 allows you to swing a couple points and not destroy the plant. If you do 7 and it creeps over youre screwed.. If you do 6.5 and it creeps under youre also screwed

I'm using soil with pH of 5.5-6.5. My tap is 7.2-7.4 Never had a problem.

use de-natured water (water left out for 24hr,s) have never checked ph - have allways got killer yields,ect for soil not to worry the soil acks as a buffer - now growing with water (hydro- ph is very important) cheap meter's really don't work well - bought one , only used once

if you are rolling over 7,you can always put just a few pine needles in the top of plant,not a lot just a few every time you feed it will make the soil more acidic,also works as a mulch to keep your soil cooler,just a old trick for broke folks hahah,but after a few watering see if it didnt drop a point

If you are over 7 you should have iron issues (yellowing top leaves)... if your plant looks fine you need a better meter.

ive used them and still do the trick is dont leave them in the soil,after you read it clean off the probes,i even checked it once against drops and was right on,i still rely on drops though if having issues ,just a old fart lmao
