soil to wet for seedlings

pretty sure i screwed up here. i was trying to raise the humidity in my grow tent for my seedlings and i really soaked my 5 gal pots down hoping to bump the humid up. it worked but the seedlings took off to fast in smaller pots so i had to transplant them into the wet soil. how can i dry the soil out faster? i have a heater going already but i'm worried about the roots

There was no reason in the world you couldn’t have waited. My advice now is to not fuck with them AT ALL until they are thirsty.

Also, 5 gal is quite the jump for seedlings if you are not growing autos.
