The deepest partial solar eclipse in a generation is headed to Southern California this weekend.
The partial solar eclipse will occur late in the day in Southern California on Sunday, beginning at 5:24 p.m. Should be a nice show

It's suppose to be around 90 something percent here in Vegas can't wait if you miss this then you will won't see it in your life time again.

I read that article, and I recall that it said that Reno and Lake Tahoe will also have superior views of the full annular eclipse. We're not that far south of Lake Tahoe, so I'm hoping that we also get a good view.

i just took this photothough the welding lens.
At 1st I didnt think it worked...but if you look close you can see it...it the smaller one...and its a mirror image..

the moon is on the bottom coming up...but in my photo, its on top...do you see it?

I will try to get more :)

Yep Pretty exciting! :D But it didn't get quite square in front here in central cali
only about 90%
