I rekkon the big fans will be a bonus. She's looking nice and thiccHere's one of my prospects. I'm thinking this one might be my best bet. I think she's Gorilla Glue. Does anything think the big fans might give some sort of advantage?
What you guys are accomplishing here is simply amazing.
It’s more honing my skill fir me that’s why I don’t enter the contest anymore - at any moment something can happenShould have kept her going a few days until others had put theirs up. Think I've missed out on a stinkier finish. Maybe should have pulled out too for the sake of letting her finish fully. Might just be for my own work instead of having to stick to time restrictions from now on. It's hard when everyone has real lives going on and need meds growing in the space etc etc.
This isn't about the competition side of things, this is more from one grower to another. A little bit of notice or heads up that they're out or are behind etc etc, we're all adults I'm sure no1 judging or voting would mind if a late finish happened. But now my poor lady has suffered an early culling when she could have been sat maturing a bit more. I even asked before flowering if everyone was still on board or I'd have up potted her with the other 2 and have a monster on my hands now.
Oh well too late now. Lesson learned, listen to my ladies not the rules.
P.S sorry for the mini rant I think it's my time of the month

I dropped a good week in the early stage so it wasn't so much the time frame of the comp, more what I left myself was to the dying day anyway, it was just that Iwould have left till even today if I'd known the others weren't quite ready either. Then maybe 2 days in the dark and then chop and hang. Should have stuck to my instincts and waited until others popped their heads up too. Either way too late now. It was all a good experience and a great learning curve.sorry to hear that the time frame may have effected your flavor, the intent was not to make you pull early. Much respect for following the rules all the way through and sticking it out in the cup.
Pics don't do her colours justice tbf. She's got some beautiful lavender hues and stinks of purple@Greenjourneyman
@Grownsince95

Keep your head up fudge, things will iron themselves out again. Just keep doing what your doing, you sound like your on track to me.I dropped a good week in the early stage so it wasn't so much the time frame of the comp, more what I left myself was to the dying day anyway, it was just that Iwould have left till even today if I'd known the others weren't quite ready either. Like I said earlier think it's my totm. I've fell out with the wife and my eldest son today.
At least the 2 littler ones and my ladies still love me
Wise words! Always listen to the ladies. LShould have kept her going a few days until others had put theirs up. Think I've missed out on a stinkier finish. That will be my bad from getting her out for a photo shoot earlier. Had her resting on a jug and ended up tipping nd touching the carpetHoly molly, those are some frosty buds. On a side note: scope some of your buds there for those short hairs, from your furry friends. I see one or two of them floating, I get them also, sometimes. But they will likely effect the taste some, if you don't catch them.
The accent is pretty thick, you'd never think I was born in London and didn't move up north until I was 7, I had a full on conckney dialect until then, as soon as I went to school up here I lost it.Love it Fudge plus I love the way you say Purple Punch on your videos......Od .
That will be my bad from getting her out for a photo shoot earlier. Had her resting on a jug and ended up tipping nd touching the carpet. My little best mates are pretty good tbf to them, if you look at my other pics you be hard pressed to find a hair, at least while they are alive. Once it's culled and into my living space it's a battle of wits against the hairy ones . Now that I've taken over another room there will be no trimming where the buffalo roam so should be virtually 0 offences in future.
It's a shame mate, gutted for you. Wish you had posted though I'd loved to have run an extra week. Oh well good luck on the breedingUnfortunately I don't have a horse in this race anymore.I never really got control of the aphids so I completely gutted 3 out of 5 of my tents and downsized the whole operation. Just focusing on the breeding project I started now for the foreseeable future.
This was certainly a huge challenge and I did not do very well keeping up past week 4 of flower.
Good luck and congrats to whoever wins!!! The plants that are left look great!!
Gonna have a monster even starting veg now. I use ladies stockings over my intakes for dust and hoover them every few days, replace every month or do. Pretty cheap but you look a right one going to you're local store for them every few weeks. I'm sure the male owner winked at me and blew a kiss last timeMy problem is not only black cat hair, but my own. My hair is like 11 years long, so it can get caught in them as I move them around, same with the beard. But my biggest challenge is the dust. Lot's of dust in this area, and I don't have an entirely closed system. So I've gone to putting filters on the backs of fans, to mitigate it some. It's a constant struggle for me, sounds like you've got a good handle on it.
I was kinda surprised actually, because the plant looked so pristine. Makes sense that you fumbled her.
and a photo: When should I begin to veg it?
