Forgot! 🤦‍♂️ one of the two tootsie okies are going towards the challenge. the other will be for clones. the PBBxCMANS might be for some clones along with just making a robust run of a like strain.

Who wants to grow a Christmas Tree Cannabis plant this year in a Solo cup? Who thinks they can do it? Let's see.

Start date: September 1, 2025

Flip date: October 31, 2024

End Date December 25, 2024

Rules are simple, grow reg or auto, from seed (fem seeds are great) or take a clone(s) and grow in a Solo Cup (any size) in any soil or substrate or hydro starting September 1. You can start 1 or 1000 and you pick your best plant. Flip October 31, decorate your tree a day or two before Christmas and post pictures by Christmas. Simple. No judging no prizes just accomplishment and a killer Christmas Tree and a story you'll share the rest of your life😉

We use to do this every year back in the day and I never got involved and regretted it so I started it back up last year and glad I did.

It’s pretty fun too! Banter, tips and tricks, and it’s just fun to hang out. (not to mention the 4 million dollars and mansion on the moon if you win!) 😆✌️if you dont have to much going on at the montent you should jump in!

Yeah, there's really no rush as trying to veg 2 months in a solo can be maddening🤣 I do it all the time.

These are GDP x Starry Eyed at least 2 months old. All have been topped and you don't wanna do that for a Christmas tree. It's not easy but shows your skills as a grower😉

Coco coir. About the only thing I grow in. Almost. Here they are July 11th

Gelato 12 of 18 have sunk

Good sign. They've been in the dark all day on the patio cement floor with a cover. I'll take 12 of 18 and be over joyed. And I'll be looking for a male to pair with that pink bud female. Got a bunch of clones. A win win you might say🙃

Edit: these will go into coco coir tomorrow morning.

7 out of 8 and 1 out of 2 for now. I let them crack and tail out in there so they have some time yet to soak : )

Will you give the floaters some time?

update ont he okie tootsies! The sunken seed cracked over yesterday and the floater sunk! I’ll be making up their seeding starting medium and cups today, which at that point I’ll pick the official Christmas tree challenger! For sure it’s the first okie tootsie to crack (un officially at this point). I’ll get some pics later for ya’ll later today.

tips/tricks: If you use the smaller solos to soak seeds in and they are placed on any type of auxiliary heat, MAKE SURE YOU CKECK THEM DAILY! Almost smoked them! They had another few hours of water in the bottom of their cup!🤦‍♂️🤣

I soaked my seeds for almost 48 hours but got them potted yesterday afternoon

18 Gelato. It's still too early this morning (4:45am) to check on the cuts as the lights won't come on in the greenhouse for another 35 minutes.

I dropped a couple of northern hashplant last night courtesy of my man @TheGoldenRoad some to grow regular. One or two for the solo cup challenge.

This will be the first time my girl is excited about me growing pot in the basement haha
