DIY 440w LED PANEL -200w QB lm281b+ / 240w citizen clu048-1212 - Meanwell XLG240MA / HLG240Hc1750B

•Tent
80x80x160cm

Ventilation
12" fan for air circulation and 2un 4" PC case fans inline for exhaust (will buy a proper exhaust fan soon)

Soil
Organic - prep soil from the nearest gardening supply store, some organic amendments, sphagnum and perlite (using just the prep soil for the seedlings, no amendments, no perlite, no sphagnum)

Pots
1,5 gal pots for veg and 4 gal pots for flowering. using some rando pots for seedlings

Plants are in the beggining of the 4th week, we will be flowering 4 to 5 plants depending on how they develop. for now we have 4 plants with the same size and two little ones. will kill one of those two for sure, waiting to see if the other one shows any signs of stronger growth, if it doesnt, killing it too

The weak plants on the back, right one is the weakest

Looking solid, seeing that growth pick up in the newer pics. They seem to be responding well under that DIY LED setup.
DIY LED is the way to go if you are low on budget and know how to/ don't mind taking the time to learn how to deal with dc voltage. you can achieve same PAR results as big brand LEDs with DIY. got these COB LEDs when lm281b or lm301h wasn't out yet, then upgraded with two lm281b+ QBs after some time.
got everything from aliexpress except the QB heatsinks and all the hardware.

time to start training - day 28 since sprout
just a simple LST for each plant

day 31, 30 more days planned vegetating
gilrs starting to bounce back. I was giving them too much light, some deficiencies started to crawl up but I got the the problem before they locked up growth. lights now at 22" and drawing 120w from the wall. girls branching real good, no more LST for now, they dont really need it.

day 36
so far so good, no major problemas
they threw some balls after the training stress but could be just some minor hermie traces as far as I know so I'm keeping everybody alive for now even the dwarfs

day 42 - 6 weeks gone, at least two more until flip to 12/12
gave the lil dwarf that started branching a chance and translanted it, the other one (right) is really stunned, rip.

day 44 - gave them a good top dress of indigenous fungi. gone for a walk today at a trail next home and grabed a bag of soil from the woods, lots of decaying organic matter, mostly leaves, with lots of bacteria and fungus, shit is covered in white from all the fungi.

pic from today, after top dress and watering. they've been drinking. alot last couple days.

day 51 - very bushy and short plants.
did a hard defoliation today, sure will have to remove a lot more leaves before and during first weeks of 12/12. 6~9 more days of 18/6, just so they adapt to their new pots.

just 8 hours after a LST and they already bounced back to light and lots of new bud sites growing, girls very happy with their new pots.
I snapped a plant in half (classic me)
