Hi everyone, I’m new of here!
I’m so happy to found this website.
And I also bring some problems needs someone help me for fix it..

I had some days with DWC and try 4 pots rdwc in this year.

I’m using 600W mh&hps all the time.
And using emerald harvest 3 parts now.
Before is canna classic grow and flower.

The problem is
1. PH always dropping start at flowers weeks 2 or 3. But in veg it’s very good ph.
Always from 5.8 to 6.3(6.4) every 24hours.

Maybe it was root problems. It does have some unpleasant smells. Even running with water chiller..
So I try to using H2O2 for , it will make it better but I have to keep using it..(it’s hard to get Hydroguard, but still try to buy one)
I hope someone can tell me about the ph problems, it’s root rot ? Or other problem?

I've read that it could be phosphorus and potassium, one of which in excess, it will lockdown cal&mag or others…

2. Leaves easy to get dark green in flowers.

I try to reduced nutrition, But it doesn't seem to help matters.
Try to flush, but problem will happen again in next few days.
I think it's nitrogen toxicity(cuz the dark green leaves) I try to use very less nitrogen, didn’t put “grow” only micro and bloom. And Cal&mag comes with 4% nitrogen..
Whether my nutrition ratio is wrong?

My grow tent data:

Water temp 18-19c with a water chiller
Room temp 26 lights on 19 lights off
RH 40% to 45%
Soft water 30ppm
EC 1.5 form 12/12 day 1.
But now it’s 1.2.
About ph dropping…because I think it was the nutrient too much.. so I add some fresh water in my tank. When I drop my EC from 1.5 to 1.2.
The PH problem still. So I will high the EC again.

At last, I have to say sorry to everyone because my English not good. There may be some grammatical errors,Still learning English and growing. XD

Kind regards to every growers!!

8,

Not sure about the onset of flowering and low pH. Could be a coincidence. Others will comment.

The plants look good. N2? Who cares it’s not over abundant, you’ve got loads of flowers. Why do you have no lower leaves. Have you been defoliating?!

Zill.

Smell , well yes that could be a good indicator.

We don’t like any smell.

And with the ph dropping , well I would think that’s a very good indicator also.

Now they both must be together or we could get of track here with fertilizer level and sorts

But I’m going with your first idea.

So lift the lid , take a boo. Any discolouration other than say from your nute mix?
Grey browning ?
Pearly white?

Yes, I did defoliation.

Now they are looks like dark green, shine..

I put H2O2 for three days. Today the ph looks like going up again. Hopefully the H2O2 can make the root better.

The nitrogen toxicity seems to be getting worse..

I will take some pictures of them..

Now I’m thinking about the oxygen deficiency.
I put 2 air stone for each plant with two 4 ways air pump.
I use them in a 20L bucket DWC before , it works good.

Now my total capacity is up to 220 liters, but I'm probably running 130 to 150 liters, so maybe it's an oxygen problem, how much oxygen do I need in the water?

In my experience, if the plant is ingested correctly, the ph will slowly rise. Once the water starts to acid, there's something wrong…

New upload.

Nitrogen toxicity makes calcium lockout?

I should flush, or do I need do something?

I have Aptus Ecozen, system clean,
Cannazym, for flush if I need to do that.

I checked my note..

Maybe I put too much nitrogen…

It was over 240ppm calmag in total 600 ppm…
Should be the answer…

But still hope can learn about PH..

Thanks everyone

Do nothing. Except add back the defoliated leaves. Can’t do that.

I would not think your too far off.
I will assume that’s 1.2 ec .
Personally I run calmag to 160-180 ppm.
So you adjust your ph to 6 and then see what it is in 12hrs .
