Germed a full pack of Sour Hazy Jones and got 100% rate and now I have 11 healthy 'lil seedlings going all within 3 days from putting them inbetween paper towels, they flew out the shells too!! I'm gonna be growin' them out in 15L pots (in coco) & feeding by hand using the full Canna nute line.
Just wondering what to expect from these grow wise, how do they respond to - nutes/feeds, topping, LST, supercropping, how much stretch to expect, etc.
I'm really lookin forwards to seein how these turn out as I've been reading a lot of good reviews about CSG gear, I'll journal the grow here too if anyone is interested??

Hey bro i'd top them nice and early and then do some LST on them, a little extra work but with those genetics it will pay off big time.....gonna be some super complex flavours from those and the high is gonna be crazy, cant wait to see ya do your thing.
I love the canna range, lots of Rhizotonic (including 1ml per litre the week before and after flipping to 12/12) and then a nice dose of PK13-14, 3 week flush and your set. Simple yet amazing results.....can i also suggest the B'cuzz coco Booster and B'cuzz coco Bloom Stimulator too.

Thanx for the tip's Ookie, I'm gonna be using CannaBoost & PK13/14 as thats what I already have, but are these 2 B'cuzz additives better for coco?? This will be my first coco grow.

I've also got a couple of packs of Cheesedog as well as a pack of Grandaddy Haze too, gonna post some pic's as soon as I have some worth posting guy's.

end of week #3 here and things are going smoothly, all 11 SHJ's have now been topped and have also been introduced to their first dose of nutes this week too. I'm currently using ~ CANNA Coco A+B, Rhizotonic, Superthrive and Bio link plus (+) - E.C.- 1.2, ph - 5.9. Hand fed. These are in small containers using CANNA Coco Pro with a hydroton layer at the base for drainage.

Thanx for stoppin by bro'. They've taken to the feeding nicely with no problems with burning or anything, the pic's above are from last week. Now for week 4 I've bumped up the E.C. to 1.4 and they're doin even better, I'll get some fresh pic's up at the end of the week. Also gonna be starting LST too. How are yours lookin??

Hey Connoissuer 420, how long would you recommend I veg these for?? I'm currently on the 4th week from seed, I was thinkin about takin them to 6 weeks before flipping them to 12/12. How much stretch should I expect from these in flower bro??

Haven't purchased mine yet. I may wait for some femmed seeds. I don't really have the room to take clones and such, or the ability to feed and light them. $80 is a bit much for me to spend without them being guaranteed fem. I'm growing a Texas strain right now from bagseed. They're 7,8, 9 days old now(counting from day they broke soil).

I flowered all 5 of my females at 12" and within 2 weeks most of them are over 5'. insane stretch on these girls!

Oh right...CSG are releasing Casey Jones fem's soon mate or so I've read.

That's good to know. I don't have the room or the want to-to keep any males right now. I think my wife would kill me if I tried to take over more space for plants that are still illegal in my state lol.

Now the end of week #4 from seed and veg growth is well underway now and all is goin to plan here. These SHJ's are showing a nice variation in pheno's with the 3 at the back looking clearly more sativa than the rest. I've left them topped once and now started to LST by tieing down the main stem to the pots by using bent out to shape paper clips, I'll be throwing most of these into my (1800w HPS) flower room next week apart from the smaller lookin ones which I plan to veg out here for a bit more first.

Day #1 of Flower

It's been a busy week here this week, now the end of week #5 from seed and I've transplanted 7 SHJ's into bigger pots and now put them into my flower room. 4 have been left in my veg closet still as back ups in case any males are pulled as I'm still waiting to confirm sex. 7 of the best looking have been selected and have taken to the transplant with no stress at all and I've continued to LST all but the 2 in the round pots. Nice variation in phenotypes so far too. Out of the 4 left in veg I think I'll only be keeping one as the other 3 all have a crinkled and funny look to them. They look kind of mutated to me and I think I'll bin them off as I have other seeds/strains I want to get started on.

Pot sizes are mainly all 15L apart from a few that are in 11L pots. Medium ~ CANNA Coco pro & perlite mix with a hydroton layer at the base for better drainage.

Nutrients/Additives used this week ~ CANNA Coco A+B, Rhizotonic, Cannazym, Canna Mono - Nitrogen & Calcium and Superthrive ~ E.C.- 1.5, ph - 5.9/6.0. Hand fed.
