Quick update....
I put 2 seeds in a cup with water and a few drops of peroxide and an air stone Monday after work. Wednesday when I gt home they were still floating on top of the water. I think the air stone may have played a part n this so I removed it. This morning they are still floating so I stirred the water and put them back in the cupboard.

They were sunk on thursday when I checked them but no change. Today (FRI) I checked them and 1 was floating again so I took a closer look and BAM opened but no tap root out yet. Now idk what that means? maybe I just caught it opening? Either way I removed it from the cup of water n put it between damp not wet paper towels. Again I am soaking a rockwoll for this strain. last time I soaked 2 and the seeds never developed and then my MNS nl5 haze showed up the next day so they didnt go to waste.

I only have a camera phone for pics so bad quality.

Well when I took it out of water when it opened and put it in damp paper towel it closed back up. I know I'm not helping he cuase. I will not drop more till I get some sea weed. But will do that soon. Im just way behind. Thanks Update when there's something to say

Lol. I appreciated the effort!! It's just hard for me to stop doing something that has worked so good. I've germed every seed I've ever grown between paper towels. So when this lil guy showed a glimmer of life I reverted to what has always worked. I still have a bunch of seeds to try

An update.... After receiving these beans I jumped in feet first trying to germ a few of them. Creating this thread was my best move as I learned valuable information from all of you. After taking all things into consideration I have a plan and will be moving forward n the coming weeks. First order of business was an adequate home, I am putting the finishing touches on what I'm deeming my long flowering box. I took the info I learned here and researched a little further and have made a shopping list for seed germ. Big Red (the one who bought the smoke that had the beans) has since been diagnosed with throat cancer. When we last spoke he had 8 more chemo treatments and 35 more radiation treatments but was feeling ok just no taste buds left. This is helping to motivate me as he hasn't had any type of cannabis since before thanksgiving and won't till may. Just incase these don't pan out I have purchased a pack if nevil haze mango and a pack of nh#21 x Mullum madness

I'm so sorry to read that Big Red has been Dx'd with throat cancer. Prayers and light headed his way.

I am very glad to read that you've learned so much and found this place to be such a great help. :)

So I grabbed two different solutions today. They didnt have the ga3. I grabbed fulvex. Excerpt..Promotes high crop yields - Treating seeds with low concentrates of Fulvex before sowing, improves their rate of growth, development of roots and shoots and increases crop yield.

I also grabbed nitrozime which is marine algae extract. I plan to try a few seeds in a light solution of each starting today. My fingers are crossed and I will update soon. Have a fun bu safe New Year's Eve everyone!!

ive learned that the more I mess with them the less they germ
but god luck with those and hopefully find a nice keeper

Hey thanks for stoppin in. I saw another RLP symbol yesterday. Besides my bro who has same exact logo. We call it are clan tag. He plays modern warfare not me. Glad u posted tho cuz I floated 5 in each solution yesterday and actually forgot about them with all the holiday comotion. Ill check them after a good smoke. Which is needed after the u of m game!!!

Well nothin has happened they all sank n just stayed on the bottom. I haven't dumped them yet but have lost hope on this round. I have roughly 40 more seeds to find 1 hopefully 2 viable seeds. I'm seriously considering hunting down some Regie to get some throw away seeds to experiment with. I saw the guy that cuts his seeds open I'm wondering about soaking them till they sink then cutting them open. But like I say that experiment needs to be tested first.

Uh, the seeds that sink are the most likely to be viable. Once they sink, I put them onto a paper towel to see which ones crack because that way I don't waste space, soil and other resources on them.

Well using the traditional method (wet paper towel) I've only had 2 seeds besides these oldies that didnt germ. Makes me want to try it again with them. But maybe soak the P.T. In kelp water instead of plain tap. Everytime I attempt to germ these seeds I germ something else after so I don't feel like a failure. So I threw 4 nevils haze #21 x early mullumbimby madness in about 36 hrs ago. Two are sprouted and going in rocwoll after I finish my coffee. My wife keeps the heat set to 65 F. I think this might slow down the germ process? That was my thought when nothing happened after 24 hrs. Lol.
