No.

12 inches at 90% will be 1,200+ par in the center.

At 12 inches you should be around 65-80%.

The whole point of running it low over the canopy (10-12 inches) is to run it at a lower percentage dimmed setting, meaning more efficiently. If you want to run the light low over the canopy at basically full power then you need to run co2.

I have 2 SE3000’s

seems like there would be more opinions on this from this site . could this be because there is no chance this could be an overwatering issue which is the number 1 answer to everything here

18" is probably a good place to start. As for light strength? I don't see any plants in any of the pictures. It's as much of an age thing with the plants as it is the heights and light intensity. If they are small, then 85% is likely still pretty high.

If you truly want to take the guess work out of the equation, a quantum light meter would be what you want. You can use smart phone apps that measure ppfd but their accuracy depends a lot on the hardware in your phone. Your ppfd should range between 100-300 as sprouts. 300-600 as juveniles in veg and 800-900 during flower. Those should be interpreted as slowly increasing ppfd as the plants get older/larger.

18 inches is a good hanging height, and I think 85% is fine, I bet your around 800-1,000 ppfd which is good. Just watch your leaves, they’ll tell you if they want more/less light by opening/closing.

it’s because your thread had no activity and so it got bumped down, I.e. less likely to get a response.

If you don’t get an answer in a reasonably timely fashion (24hrs? Idk that’s what we say in my business) then you can respond/bump the thread and you’ll be more likely to get a response. Or start @‘ing people lol.

Depends on the growth phase you’re in. Late flower can be as low as 6 to 10 inches especially if you have increased the carbon dioxide above 800 ppm.

it depends on your environment and nutrients. I run that light in flower at 10-12 inches at 100% no problem at all. veg 16-18 inches adjust dimmer to suit what the leaves are telling you
