probably started because the environment allowed it and maybe your watering habits..
get things dialed in better.. any insect can carry/transfer pathogens etc..

If they are in your soil gets some Diometicus earth layer it ontop the soil.

I’ve been thinking About switching the ProMix for this reason. I bought Foxfarm soil from several different vendors in different locations and every bag has springtails, soil mites and fungus gnats to some degree

I use Bushmaster Coco Loko from different shops, never seen any insects in mine.
